I ordered the Sampler ("The Next Level") blu-ray JUST on these videos.
That.
Looks.
Gorgeous.
I can't wait to see "Yesterday's Enterprise" redone like this....or "Best of Both Worlds" or the Season 6 Borg episode...the one with the liberated Borg...shit..forgot what it's called.
Also, it helps that the "Next Level" sampler has two of my favorite TNG character episodes, "The Inner Light" and "Sins of the Father". I absolutely loved (and still love) The Inner Light as one of my all time top TNG episodes.

In terms of special effects, what I'm waiting for is: 'QWho' and 'Best of Both Worlds' to get a good look at the borg cube. 'Survivors' for the battle between the Enterprise and Husnock. 'Darmok' to see the battle between the Enterprise and the Tamarian ship, and also to hope-against-hope that they fixed the infamouse 'lol let's fire the phasers out of the forward photon torpedo tube!' The 'Redemption' arc also has a few kick ass sfx shots, the 'Defector' and 'Face of the Enemy' and basically any episode that has the romulan warbird in it. Also I want to see 'All Good Things' in HD too. :)
But just in general, the level of detail in this is incredible. There was a screenshot from 'Sins of the Father' with Data, Geordie and Riker on the bridge looking at a computer panel - and you can actually read what they were looking at on the LCARs display! You can see individual strans of hair on Groppler Zorn from 'Farpoint'. The colours are rich and vibrant. This is just fantastic.
Also it reminds me I need to get TOS on blu-ray as well. :)

That picture is so sharp I think it just fixed my vision...
Seriously, who knew that in that closing shot you can see people walking around the bridge of the Enterprise?

I gotta be honest, the CGI in this just looks...wrong. It's jittery at all the wrong times and it jars me out of it.
