#1 Definition of Intelligence "levels"

Post by The Minx »

I keep hearing that such-and-such a DC character has a "Level 10 intellligence" or a "level 12 intelligence" and so on.

Can anyone tell me how these levels are defined? :???: Or is it merely a cool-sounding technobabble thing (or rather psychology-babble)?

Can you give us a bit more context? Is this from a card or comic dialogue or what?

It's from comic dialogue. The one I specifically remember is Red Son: Brainiac supposedly has a "level 12 intelligence" and so on.

It's a DC Comics Term

It's a intellegence scale, as far as I know, with Level 12 Intellegence being the highest level a mortal could possibly obtain. Known Level 12 Intellegences include Mr Terrific, Lex Luthor and Braniac.

Basically, level 12 is super smartiest of the smartiest, but that's the only ones I know what they mean.

Ah, OK...

But I wonder where normal humans stand in this scale? :???:

EDIT:

After browsing a bit I came across this page: link

This states that "our" level is 6th level intelligence.

What remains, then, is to discover what level guys like Einstein are and whether the scale is linear or logarithmic (probably the latter).
