Introducing Worm, a web novel updated twice a week about a world of Capes, and one girl's efforts to find her way. It's currently on Chapter 21, and I have found it very well-written alt-Earth universe, populated with a wealth of powered capes, each with unique takes on classic abilities. Most Heros are on the Government payroll, but not everyone trusts the Government. And not everyone wants to be a Hero, either.
Give it a look, and don't be surprised if it sucks you in just like it did me.
