The next book in The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, the next Anita Blake novel due out next year, and I think that about covers it for books I'm really looking forward to. Unless Pohl comes out with another Gateway novel anytime soon or Butcher with another Dresden I'm set for the moment.

considering the only fantasy i've ever read is Garth nix's old kingdom trilogy, i look forward to whatever he plans in the future for that world.

Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much: the wheel, New York, wars while all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in water having a good time.
But the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man for precisely the same reasons

Ooh, Artemis Fowl, good good, i enjoy those.
Slightly OT: there is going to be a series of Discworld computer games being made over the next three years, it was announced at this years E3
The Discworld kids books really really do kill the proper characters like Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg. Discworld while it is Fantasy, is not childish, it just his publishers way of getting more money.Whats wrong with so called Kid books?

The Amazing maurice &.. is good but the Tiffany aching book's are much more low-fntasy, less funny and involve too much cheese.
A hat full of sky is much better than the first though , and has granny in it. :D

True, it does, though Granny isnt really given her proper charactisation in it, she should be far more cunning than she should was shown to be.
