#1 Transformers Prime

A new animated series on "Hub TV" this February, but I'm watching a sneak preview now.
My thoughts so far:
1. Seems based in part on the movies. Prime and only a few others on Earth, Arcee is among them, so is Bulkhead & Cliffjumper. Decepticons have been missing for 3yrs... but of course this changes within the first 5min. 'Bots are in hiding from Humans as much as possible.
2. Animation is CGi, very well done, even if the designs of the 'Bots are simplified movie versions. Fight scenes are furious, but not so fast that you can't see what's happening. Facial expressions will take a little to get used to, along with the movie-style eyes.
3. Voice acting is sharp & snappy, and yes, it has THE PRIME VOICE. If the dialogue continues to be this sharp, it's got a chance of working on adult & child levels for jokes.
4. Humans. *sigh* Insert 3 teenagers. So far, the jury is out on them. Mostly, the excuse to have them around is "the 'Cons saw them with us, and want to kill them for seeing us".
Verdict?
It was a teaser. It was meant to show the possibilities and drum up interest. As such, it worked. I am looking forward to seeing a few more episodes, to see where they go from here. Nitram complained about the number of commercial breaks, but then again this is a show meant to sell toys. However, he has to admit he'll be looking for it when it comes on.
