CBR is reporting Dwayne McDuffie, long-time DC Animated writer and creator of the Milestone Comics label, including Static Shock, has passed away due to causes not yet known.

We have lost one of the greats. :cry:

There was an Update: Monday McDuffie had some form of surgery, and died from complications.
