So, Volume 1 of the post-series comic storyline - which seems to be setting up the origins of Republic City for Legend of Korra - is now available. Toph has an interesting cast of potential metal-benders, the picturesque ending of the series with Aang and Katara's first kiss turns out to have been spoiled by Sokka, and a number of other fun things.
Best part of all is Toph demonstrating to Katara what "oogie" means (in terms of her brother's disgust for her terms of endearment to Aang)...
Well, that and Katara putting down trigger-happy Firebending troops with an angry "STOP. TRYING. TO. SET. MY. BOYFRIEND. ON. FIRE!"
