Yes, it happened.

The good news is that they got a reasonably good director.

"Unleashed" and "Transporter 2" were "Reasonably good" movies now?

Have a very nice day.

Looks like a decent popcorn flick. I'm assuming there's some kind of backstory?
Never shall innocent blood be shed, yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river.

The three shall spread their blackened wings and be the vengeful striking hammer of god.

How are they going to make CGI look half as epic as the original Stop-Motion?

Part of what made Clash of the Titans so good -- it was one of the last movies to use Stop-Motion for the monsters.

Yes, it looks a bit cheesy now, and you can see where the live actors and the monsters are off .. but then, it was a triumph of Harryhousen's art.

I don't think this new film will diminish Harryhousen's contribution to cinema. The fact Clash of the Titans was quite good (least I remember it being good when I watched it as a kid) is probably why it's being remade with today's special effects.

Plus Sam Worthington is a damn good actor. And Aussie to boot.
