West Life were a clone of Boyzone.. and the others were exterminated on sight, .. apart from N'sync which led to the evil of Justin Timberlake.

Well if there's a music period I would rather NOT remember, it's the late 90s / early 2000. It's the time when boys band became the norm; when generic artists like Britney Spears became teenager's "standard listening", and especially when everyone was crazy about "bling-bling R&B" to the point that even Jennifer Lopez went R&B!!!Dartzap wrote:West Life were a clone of Boyzone.. and the others were exterminated on sight, .. apart from N'sync which led to the evil of Justin Timberlake.
Make no mistake; I love Contemporary R&B as long as they're innovative either in melody or composition (like Get Your Freak On' by Missy Elliot or 'Thong Song' by Sisqo. Yes, there IS a song called 'Thong Song' :P ), but when the genre becomes so flooded with "me-too" songs to the point you cannot tell the difference between one and another.... Well.
Heck, I wish that musical period never happened.

So be it. If saying "NO" means being alone, then to hell with love, with romance, with marriage, and all the shit life keeps pumping at me. I'll walk alone, but with freedom and a healed pride.
NEVER buy a LiteOn CD/DVD Writer. Ever.
