A little thing from work

So a couple of us got bored and were playing at text-based games while we worked, passing notes back and forth between calls. In this one, I'm the player.

You have just emerged from a broken mirror. A manlike creature stands nearby, staring in shock. Action?
>>Say hello
The manlike creature sounds scared as he responds. "Oh God! You just made it thru the Hedge and away from your Keeper, didn't you? No, don't say anything, the Others might be hot on your trail. Follow me!" He starts to leave the room and beckons you to follow him.
>>Follow manlike creature
He leads you out of what appears to be a dressing room, through a hallway, and out into an alley. He fishes out a small carved twig. "That should buy us some time. I'm Chip. It's nice to meet you." He smiles.
>>Examine area
You see an alley. Chip is next to you. Garbage is strewn across the ground. A short distance away, a vagrant searches a dumpster for something.
>>Ask what's going on
Ask who?
>>Ask Chip what's going on
"Somehow you escaped from Arcadia, the land of the True Fae. I can take you to a safe place and tell you more if you want." In the background the hobo seems to have found something and promptly devours it.
>>Ask Chip about Arcadia
"I'll explain what little I know once we're out of here." Chip starts to leave the alley and looks back at you.
>>Follow Chip
The hobo lets loose a blood curdling howl and turns into a grue. The grue eats you and Chip. You've died.
