#1 Sunset at the Marina (56K warning)

Post by The Grim Squeaker »

A week back, while bashing my head over ways to find something to waste time with/photograph, without doing any real work (such as searching for hiking routes and navigating), I wandered to the beach at a rather late hour and ended up not only at a different area of shore (northwards of Israel's major private marina) but during the sunset.
Alass, I lacked a tripod (I never take the bloody thing with me, haven't used one in years), but I managed to get some good stuff nonetheless, even if it was very hard to filter stuff. (I have a lot of alternate takes/colour shades of the photos).

Enjoy, and leave comments, lest I slap a jellyfish to your face! :D .

I love silky water, although this was a bitch of a shot due to how dark it was.

The Herzliya Marina at night. This had more potential, but I didn't have a tripod, and there weren't enough lights to get a good "light glow" effect. I lacked the skills and ability to manipulate the shutter time well enough to get a good shot here I think...

Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much: the wheel, New York, wars while all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in water having a good time.
But the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man for precisely the same reasons
