This is a good informative talk and all, but for anybody who has anxiety about talking in front of people, this is especially good.
This woman is scared to death all through the talk. She starts out half-freaked and stays that way, running constantly at out of breath, and the audience picks up on that.
But the thing to remember is that in most instances of public speaking, the audience forgives you. Watch this to the end, where she gets the standing O because the audience respects the courage she shows in gutting out a very personally difficult presentation. The Netflix version goes a bit longer and shows just how into it the audience was at the end.
Courage does get rewarded and people do respect it.
