so I was growing a beard...went to trim.

Asked the guy I work with (who does the nightshift while I do day) if I should keep the beard, or shave down to a goatee.

He suggested a third option

Next to me is Bob S. He was the head electrician and like over three hundred years old, at least. We can verify that he was a plankowner on the USS Constitution, and rumor has linked him to Trafalgar, Drake's battle with the Spanish Armada, Attium, and Salamis. Supposedly he had to come back to the states after poking Nelson in his good eye. He probably hauled one of Frigid's ancestors to Tripoli, too. I would not be surprised in the slightest to discover he'd already made chief by the time that Noah's Ark sailed.

He is indeed trying to grope me there. I believe he was suggesting that now that I was no longer affiliated in any way with management and therefore had returned to some marginal human status we should explore our future possibilities. I was flattered, but men old enough that Methuselah called them 'Uncle Bob' are a tad out of my acceptable range.

He maturely handled this rejection by throwing shit at me in a later picture:
