So This weekend (Jan 9 - 11) was the 2015 WizardWorld ComiCon in New Orleans. Of course, I went again this year, and of course, I made a costume. Or tried to make a costume. There's varying degrees of assuredness that the costume looks like who it's suppossed to be.

Anyway, there's pictures! My limited Photography skillz will now show you them.

Group Cosplay - Odin (with his wolves) a Valkyrie and Hogan
Image

This Catwoman was...like a somewhat twisted version of Michelle Pfifer's Batman Returns Cat Woman.....but with a lot larger chest (they were sorta odd to see in person)
Image

Frigid - this one is what you need to do, DBZ's Krillan
Image

Gohan the Great Sayaiman from DBZ also (I think you could pull this one off too Frigid)
Image

A Fan-Group, the Louisiana Ghostbusters. They were raising money for the Cancer Foundation by selling Photo's with the GB Gear and special effects for a small donation. Grst buncha guys.
Image

Butters as Professor Chaos from Southpark! I laughed when I saw him but it was great
Image

a Professional Cosplay/Glam Model attending the show - Ireland Reid as a "Sexy Pikachu"
Image

A really cool Spiderman costume
Image

The Titans - Raven, Starfire and Nightwing with Deathstroke
Image

A Star Wars Twi'lek - there's at least one at every Con
Image

Some Warcraft players in their armors - Looks like their about to hit on a Raid Boss....
Image

This one took me a second to figure out...but the guy was glad I caught on - Where's Waldo-pool! with Harley Quinn
Image

a Xenomorph from Aliens
Image

Captain Zapp Brannigan - on the look for some scantily clad females willing to explore where some women has gone before! (he even had the cheek kiss)
Image

DCAU Brainiac wanted to take a picture of me......I decided to take one of him at the same time.
Image

This one I was truly impressed with for the sheer level of geekiness it took to go back and get images to do this one....
Doomsday in his Containment Suit prior to his fight with Superman - just before he was battling the JLA during the "Death of Superman" issue. I didn't even REMEMBER the Containment Suit until he mentioned it to me (then it clicked into place and the stuff came back to me)
I was impressed with not only the level of geekery, but the awesome detail he put into this suit.

Ollie the Green Arrow

What? Me? In a Costume?
I think I have some pics.....

Went to my sisters house foe help with the Make Up - I would never have gotten the eye lines right by myself since I suck at makeup
Image

I think there was a error at the factory....pretty sure this dude was never in Star Wars....and I'm pretty sure a entirely different company makes those two toy lines....
Image

By this time it was late in the day - I was tired and I was letting my posture slouch even while standing for a picture....But hey, I got a picture with Supergirl and Power Girl - the Kryptonian Hotties
Image

Then that bastaige Guy Gardener decided to Photobomb the Main Man....
Image

Because you can't tell in the other pics - I have some colored contacts in my eyes to help with the costume effect - here's a picture of my with my friend Sarah - ComiCon Selfie Style

Oh, and there was a panel-like thing while I was there. So I went with my friends Sarah and Rebecca. Ended up it was a Trivia Contest to be hosted by Bruce Campbell. The first portion of it was audience participation in order to see who would go on stage for the really cool bit.

Image

In case you can't see....there's me at the Second Place Podium in my full costume.

At this point, we were taping for a ConTV.com Webshow called "Last Fan Standing" - of course hosted by the Imminatable Bruce Campbell himself. So I was on Stage with the Chin. I had the distinct honor of (and probably because of this being the second episode) being the first Contestant to go on stage in full Cosplay.

Unfortunatly, since my friend was busy being jealous I was on stage with Bruce Campbell, she didn't take pictures of Commercial Break 1 and 2, where I resoundedly beaten my opponents (I was in the lead with 250 points, the second place guy had 140).

Round Three had us chose each a Category (Zombies - All Kinds, Fast and Slow, That Witchy Girl [or something like that] and Twilight (The Sterling Saga) ). Since I was in the lead, i got to choose my category first (I chose Zombies), my opponent chose Twilight (as in the Twlight Zone, not the Sparkly Vamp) and got to answer first. Out scores were reset to 0, and each question was worth 2 points - or 1 point if you didn't answer and your opponent answered right.

He answered 2 questions, I stole one from him, and we both missed the other two (Twilight Zone was never my strongest suit). Then it came to me.......out of 5 Questions, I got 4 right (the one I missed was the name of the bar in Shawn of the Dead). So with a score of 9 - 4 . . .
Image

I was the Last Fan Standing - I got some cool WW Swag, and a prize check for 500 USD which will be coming in the mail. The ConTV goes on Web-air in February, and They will let me know when my episode will be watchable sssssoooo - yeah. That was WW ComiCon 2015 for me!

Thanks you two - I admit I didn't expect to get on stage (I expected to get knocked off in the last round of audience participation questions) but it was awesome.

As soon as the episode is up for viewing (it's a Web-TV Show on ConTV.com ) I'll link it for everyone to see.

Also seeing myself in the pictures I did get taken - has convinced me more than ever I need to lose some belly weight. Made it a goa to lose 50 pounds for this year.

Yeah, lose some belly weight, firm up your muscles, and you'll look even more like the main-man! On the note of which, I had to do a double take when I thought I saw a picture of a Lobo mannequin in a huge Star Wars toy box, which made me wonder how the hell that made any sense. Took me a moment to realize that was you, so good job on the costume.
