#1 Eric Cartman, the Great Satan

I dont know where this goes, but something hit me while I was watching South Park today.
Eric Cartman is evil incarnate, and I am pretty sure he compares favorable with Hannibal Lecter when it comes to the art of manipulation.
He has managed to read a nanny like a book. He was able to talk another into insanity, he manipulated the entire town into antisemitism, and he made a kid eat his own parents.
Anyone agree with me here?

My vote is still with Lector...
But this is based on childhood Cartman that we are able to watch. I think Lector has talked people into doing the same things or similar enough to count and then some. Peeling off your own face anyone?
Now, if Cartman's powers of manipulation and destruction were to grow as he ages into an adult, Lector will be in serious trouble.

Dude, he made a kid eat his parents. Cartman wins. I just wish I could remember the greek drama they got that off of.

I believe Lector managed to get someone to preform autocanibalism.
Eating yourself vs unknowingly eating your parents...

Yeah, but he was drugged. Cartman did it through pure manipulation and trickery.
And I doubt The Good Doctor was doing that kind of shit when he was 8 years old...

Look we got an 8 year boy who has pulled off feats equal to or greater than a man in his 40s-50s. The boy only has room to grow, while the man is in the winding down time of his life. It's clear who's the most evil here with a bit of thought.
Cartman=Antichrist.

I'm not debating that Cartman is an evil hellbent monstrosity. That I will readily agree with. But, if we are comparing, side by side, the two as they are now, as they exist in their forms, be it movie, show or book as we are able to read and view them currently, not any potential future versions thereof, then I believe Lector to be currently the greater.
However, I do agree that Lector is in the declining stages and Cartman is on the rise. If we were compare them in future versions, yes, Cartman would most likely win. But current versions gives Lector the win. Cartman has done many a vile and twistedly evil thing, but Lector has years, experiance and about 5x at many crimes against humanity.

Ok, nothing is going to beat an 8 year old having a kid eat his own parents over a matter of five bucks. Nothing. Hannibal Lector may have caused far more atrocities but all of these were at an appreciable age and never simply over someone owing him five dollars, which is far more evil than doing evil because you enjoy it.

Lector killed a violinst and served his sweetbreads to the New York Symphony directory for dinner, just to make the string section sound better.
This beats the five bucks.
At current time, Lector wins. In the future, Cartman proves himself supreme.

A point to consider, Lector got fucking caught. Cartman has got away everytime and he's 8 fucking years old. He restarted the civil war, he made a kid eat his own parents and convinced his town to build a hippy drill and let's not forget training a horse to bite off a kid's wiener.
An 8 year old boy restarted the fucking civil war! He is the fucking anti-christ.

And likewise have had most of his plots foiled by other 8 year olds.
The bit with the tv networks and Mohamad. The civil war. The trapperkeeper 2000. He hasn't been arrested yet but he's been foiled. Whereas Lector was arrested once and managed to engineer his own escape through careful manipulation and social engineering.

not to mention Law Enforcement in the South Park verse is a frigging joke, anybody with half a braincell could outwit Officer Barbrady and thier entire Criminal Investigation forces.
Lector was captured by a FBI special agent who had been trying to track him down for years, and was captured only because said Agent was Lector's own protegie of sorts.

The world as we know it would end.
But He hasnt always been foiled. He never gets beaten by wit, or force. it is always a niggling technicality, or chance. He managed to manipulate millions of christians into buying his music. He lost his bet because the album didnt go platinum...
He managed to get the entire town to turn into neo-nazis. Only defeated by Mel Gibson's arrival.
The simple fact is, he is capable of far more than Hannibal is. His achievements are greater, and as we saw in the latest episode, he probably is posessed.
He even succeeded in tricking the US congress into legalizing stem cell research so he could make an identical copy of his favorite pizza joint.
He designed and BUILT the hippy drill, and managed to kidnapp dozens of hippies, and "kept Southpark safe since he was 5"

Alright...
I want to possibly restate some thoughts. After watching a new episode of South Park, I want to conclude that while I still don't believe that mentally Cartman is a compatition for Lector, I believe that he is clearly as evil if not moreso.
I still think that in a direct compatition that Lector would win, having the mental and experiance upperhand of years of work, but Cartman is at least his equal in evilness... he just handcuffed a kid to the flagpole, gave him a saw and told him his milk had been poisoned and that the only way he could get the antidote was to saw off his arm and escape... because the kid called him chubby...
Again, Cartman would lose to the elder and more knowledgable Lector, but I will now conclude that Cartman is the greater evil. And the evil will grow as he does...

Cartman almost caused a genocidal purge of the rest of the human race by ginger kids when he was tricked into believing one. Hannibal can't compete with acts of that scale.

Yes, but then he was also beat down by the dog whisperer guy who kept using two fingers to nip his neck...

And Lector was beat by an FBI guy who told him everything he was doing before he did it. What's your point?
