Alright, suppose you win Oscar and such (or maybe decide to be a pro wrestler), and of course you'll get to choose your own theme song, which would be played when you are walking to the stage (or the ring, in case of pro wrestling).

What song would you choose?

Here are the songs I would consider:

Chemical Brothers - 'Rock the House' (Prodigy Remix)

Moby - 'James Bond Theme' (OST Tommorrow Never Dies)

Taylor Dane - 'Original Sin' (the bridge chorus part; that one "I was looking for the ultimate crime......" with heavy bass-drums.)

Kylie Minogue - 'High Energy Boy' (the chorus part)

(regarding the last one, few years ago a girl I had crush on called me 'high energy boy' while referencing to the song. We were joking that it was supposed to be my theme song. Too bad she didn't return my crush.)

Hmm... Possibly:

Sister Morphine - The Rolling Stones
My username on pretty much every board I belong to besides this one and SD.net is Sweet Sister Morphine.

Plug It In - Basement Jaxx
I don't know. I just like it.

Most People I Know Think That I'm Crazy - Billy Thorpe & the Aztecs
Speaks for itself really.

No Rain - Blind Melon
"You like my point of view but I'm insane"

Dumb Enough - Hilltop Hoods
"Step on up if you're dumb enough"

Midnight Rambler - The Rolling Stones
Use skill Knife-weilding Berserker Rage.

I Don't Like Mondays - Boomtown Rats
When I used to work as a dishie, I developed a distressing habit of whistling this while I worked. This, combined with the fact that I had easy access to a variety of very sharp knives and my habit of saying things like "Could you go and tell those pricks on table 29 that if they haven't finished their drinks an left in 15 minutes, I'm going to come out there, cut out their livers and force them to eat them?" eventually resulted in the barista quietly taking me aside and telling me that several of the junior waitstaff were terrified of me.

Move Dammit - Sonic Animation
Even Jesus said "Jesus!" when he heard this song!

Chicken Payback - The Bees
Again, I just like it.

The Rebel Throne Room music that gets played at the end of Star Wars Episode IV.

Yes, I am that much of a nerd. But fuck it, assuming I win an award that allows me to walk up to a podium while I have some stirring music of my selection to announce my arrival, I'm gonna pick something suitably kick ass.

Blue Oyster Cult, Don't Fear the Reaper.

Seriously, it just depends on the mood I'm in. I have themes for everything, moods, characters I'm writing, jobs, you name it.

I think I will have to echo Stofsk here. That song kicks ass and works perfectly for this.

Work is usually high-energy music. Megalomaniac by KMFDM comes to mind.

A few....

When I'm in a fighting mood, or when I'm doing a RP which is going to involve a battle, "Hero" (Foo Fighters" always pops into my head, either that or "One Man Army" (Our Lady Peace).

Normal, comtemplative thoughts allows
Simple and Clean (Hikaru Utada) to present itself as a theory....

When I'm depressed and contemplative..."All These Years" (Sawyer Brown)

theres others, I just can't think of any atm.

I've actually thought of this quite a bit... however, like Josho, I tend to have various themes for various reasons.

But overall:

"Chasing Sirens" -- Orgy
"You're giving birth to all new trends, visions they'll never comprehend..."

"Last Night on Earth" -- U2
"She's not waiting on a savior to come
She's at the bus stop with the news of the world
And the sun, sun here it comes
She's not waiting for anyone
She hasn't been to bed in weeks
She'll be dead soon, still won't sleep
You've gotta give it away
She don't care what it's worth
She's living like it's the last night on earth,"

"Run" -- Collective Soul
"Are these times contagious?
I've never been this bored before
Is this the prize I've waited for?
Now with the hour passing
There's nothing left here to insure,"

"The Wanderer" -- Johnny Cash and U2
I went out walking
Through streets paved with gold
Lifted some stones
Saw the skin and bones
Of a city without a soul
I went out walking
Under an atomic sky
Where the ground won't turn
And the rain it burns
Like the tears when I said goodbye

Yeah I went with nothing
Nothing but the thought of you
I went wandering

I went drifting
Through the capitals of tin
Where men can't walk
Or freely talk
And sons turn their fathers in
I stopped outside a church house
Where the citizens like to sit
They say they want the kingdom
But they don't want God in it

I went out riding
Down that old eight lane
I passed by a thousand signs
Looking for my own name

I went with nothing
But the thought you'd be there too
Looking for you

I went out there
In search of experience
To taste and to touch
And to feel as much
As a man can
Before he repents

I went out searching
Looking for one good man
A spirit who would not bend or break
Who would sit at his father's right hand
I went out walking
With a bible and a gun
The word of God lay heavy on my heart
I was sure I was the one
Now Jesus, don't you wait up
Jesus, I'll be home soon
Yeah I went out for the papers
Told her I'd be back by noon

Yeah I left with nothing
But the thought you'd be there too
Looking for you

Yeah I left with nothing
Nothing but the thought of you
I went wandering

Trust me, the first three are by Linkin Park and the other two are from Papa Roach...

They're anti-hero songs... that's sort of why I like them so much, they suit me.
