I only just now got around to seeing it, and it was great fun.
I was a bit skeptical about Slughorn at first, he was too skinny compared with his description in the book and lacked the walrus mustache. But I got to liking him more as the movie wore on.
Draco had much more screen time than last time, and his stage presence is much better this time around too. Moaning Myrtle was cut out, though, as were a few of the extras.
The movie focused a more on the love drama than on the quest in the first half (but I thought it was funny), and there was plenty of action in the second half. The cave scene was especially well done, IMO.
OTOH, the confrontation on the tower and between Harry and Snape at the end could have been more powerful.
All together, it was a very good and enjoyable piece of cinema.

I really like how the movies have grown up with the characters. The filming has gotten more mature as have the actors. I wish we had gotten more of Draco's story. But over all totally awesome I can't wait for the two installments of The Deathly Hallows. But this is so far my favorite out of all of them.
I will always be a bigger and more loyal fan to harry potter than to twilight.
