Mike stood, nodding. "I'll see you all there." He said, before heading to the locker room. A few minutes later, and he walked into the training bag, setting his bag in a corner, clad in a gray t-shirt, and dark blue sweats. Mike looked over at Templar hitting one bag and Mark hitting the other.

Inferno nodded and got to his feet, he took a last bite of his salad and then walked over to the disposal bins, emptying his tray and then setting it down with the others.

"I'll see the rest of you down there then."

He turned to start walking down to the training bay.

Jerri dumped her tray and walked back to the table.
Going to ask Inferno if he'll walk you up? Heidi teased.

Jerri was getting tired of it. "Heidi... Shut up." she muttered, just loud enough for those still at the table to hear. "If you're ready to head out, Inferno, I'll head up with you."

Nicely done..
Jerri did her best not to roll her eyes.

Inferno paused for a second at Jerri's offer. "Oh. Sure."

Inferno turned and waited for Jerri to catch up.

As Mike entered, Agent Templar looked at him, nodded once in greeting, and then continued with his workout, ending with a series of high-speed strikes, with the final one being strong enough to almost make the bag wobble back and forth crazily for a moment, before righting itself as if it had never been struck.

Stepping back, Agent Templar grabbed a towel, drying his face as he checked his watch, nodding. Following this, began to move through very slow, relaxed-looking movements. "Hey. I take it we're about to start?" he said to Mike.

Without seeming to hurry, Jerri caught up quickly. "Since you'd not say who you wanted... are you giving out hints what you're planning to have us do?" she asked, mostly just to keep herself from saying anything too stupid.

Ok.. he does have a nice package
... or from finding a way to strangle her 'sister' without killing herself too. The flush had to be seen from orbit. "Do me a favor and smack Heidi when you see her next, please?" Jerri asked between clenched teeth.

Inferno laughed. "Maybe, maybe not. You'll see. It was something the leader of one of the first teams I was on showed me. Doesn't usually get much use."

When Jerri turned red Inferno cocked an eyebrow. "You alright?" Then she answered his question with her statement about Heidi and he chuckled again. "No offense, but your dear 'sister' could throw me through a wall. And just because I have a regeneration ability doesn't mean that doesn't still hurt like hell."

"Thus why she always laughs when I ask someone to do that," Jerri bemoaned, trying to get the flush under control. Heidi damn near never blushed, never felt the need to be ashamed. Jerri? She was ashamed for BOTH of them.

"One of these days, I'll find someone who will slap her for me," she finished, more a threat towards her still-laughing sister. "Just... if you see me blushing.." which she was again, and trying not to meet his eyes. "It's probably because she's said something that doesn't need repeated."

Inferno had heard Heidi's idea of a report. Jerri was sure he could get an idea of what Heidi might say where no one else could hear.
Well, if you want to tell him he's got a nice ass, you can blame it on me...
Jerri closed her eyes again and rubbed her head. It would be a loooong day.

Inferno tried not to think too hard on where Heidi's line of thought had been leading Jerri as they walked down the hall a decent distance apart. A respectable distance, the distance of two teammates.

"I'll see what I can do to keep her under control." Inferno smirked. "After all, she seemed to be pretty quiet after I mentioned how much help the janitors need around this place."

"Yes NeXT it is necessary, the comparison is apt. After all, humans, even the vast majority of metahumans are indeed apes" this was before everyone else got up. He was left still finishing his food.

"Typical" he muttered. Still, their time was nearing up so he did not take it personally. Still, growing turtles had to eat, and eat quickly.

He looked around to make sure no one was looking, the poured water into the tupperware he used, then poured everything down his throat. He had a well developed Hyoid Apparatus and thus could extend his throat to take down everything. The chewing had mostly been to normalize himself a little bit for the more humanoid amongst them. Then he got up and headed up following the rest.

"Nonsense. Humans are a unique subset of primate, notable for their high degree of tool use and creation, and the tendency to obliterate other species within the line. An ape is quite distinct. Indeed, the most similar primate is a bonobo." NeXT stated, with no apparent sense of superiority or irony. Albert sniggered, however, in the limitless flow. "Shifting to training room."

Appearing in the training room, NeXT's liquid-metal-esque avatar formed. "Unit NeXT reporting, Agents. Please advise on appropriate training." Because, thought Al, I'm not a bloody telekinetic and my body isn't on this continent.

He merely spoke into space

"Apes and humans form a monophyletic group, with hominids nested firmly within the rest of apes. They are apes, if derived ones. And just because they are smarter does not mean their mating behavior has changed. Indeed bonobos use sex to assert dominance over conspecifics... Russian Front ring a bell..." he muttered

He would get to the training room shortly after the others.

Mark25 had arrived in the training area before him, simply by virtue that the cybernetic agent didn't apparently have anything else to do, and Legion felt it prudent to focus on his mental discipline. Then Templar walked on, and in the interest of his own focus, he did his level best to ignore the telepathic meta.

Of course, then Templar began his punching exercises, making clumsy use of his telekinesis, Legion became annoyed. Still, he let the meta do his training, as he meditated. Due to the decades of his service, Legion had made a great deal of use in his power - and because of the nature of his power, he had taken on a lot of emotional and mental baggage. And while the grand bulk of it faded over time....it did get crowded and took some occasional effort to keep himself mentally viable.

As such, he had taken to meditation. It helped keep the Telepaths out to - which Legion considered a bonus.

When Gordan walked in, Legion assumed that it was nearly time to begin the team training, and finished his meditations, sliding from the modified lotus position, rising to his feet more like he was water flowing into the form.

He opened his eyes, straightened his gloves only out of force of habit, that actual need as the nano-weave gloves kept themselves in order, and straightened his bandoleer with it's two guns - one on his chest, the other placed on his lower back within easy reach. The clips were placed at his waist, and he knew by years of practice and use, how they were set. Except for today, he had loaded them with dummy-paint rounds. No need for a live fire exercise - in case Inferno decided firearms use was needed.

His eyes settled on Templar, shaking his head slowly, "Sloppy use of your telekinetic abilities, you shouldn't have to exert your own body in using them. Plus your own feaux-blows were sloppy in delivery." The words were spoken without any sense of joviality, but with the measured tone of a man who unerringly knew he was correct, and had the years of experience to use it.

"I'm assuming the rest of Omega is on their way?" he said, looking to Gordan, "Agent Mark25, you've fine form."

"He did. But I made the threat because her sniping wasn't helping anyone and I'm trying to build a team here." Inferno shrugged as he continued towards the Training bay, they were almost there now.

So in other words, keep my bitching to myself? Fine. Whatever.
"She'll do her best," Jerri answered, having perfected the minor art of understating her sister's comments. It was just the sexual comments, usually blatant, that made Jerri flush. "Heidi does have poor impulse control. More Id than Ego."

Just because I know what I want, when you're doing your best -not- to take a step back just to admire his ass? Fuck that, at least I'm honest about what I feel.
Dammit, she was going to have to find a way to stop blushing one of these years. "And she is bluntly honest from her point of view." Jerri stopped at the door of the training room and looked up at Inferno, the flush still on her cheeks. "That's the other reason why I'm blushing all the time."

heh. Maybe next time I'm out I should just tell him you want him?
Jerri's eyes closed as she wished she could mentally kick her sister into next year. "Too Blunt."

Without stopping or changing the pace of his slow, relaxed movements, Templar didn't answer immediately. He slowed to a stop, and began another set as the others began filing in, a set that resembled a tiger's movements. It was then that he answered Legion as he turned back in that general direction for one of the movements. A small smirk appeared on his face before he spoke.

"Maybe I wanted to exert my own body in delivering them, due to all that being a workout. Now, as for what you think about my form, ok, whatever. I wasn't doing it to make you all Bambi-eyed."

He finishing his movements with a few slow sweeps, moving back to his heart, he then grabbed a towel and waited for the others, taking a sip of his sports bottle as he did.

Inferno laughed, "I'm sure you'll figure something out." With that he opened the door to training bay 2 and stepped inside, looking around.

Jerri followed Inferno into the room, looking around to see who was already there. As her eyes passed over the group she gave both NeXT and Mark25 a brief smile. As her eyes passed over Mike, Heidi took notice.

wow... look at the body on him....
That earned Mike, in his t-shirt and sweats, a second glance from Agent(s) Gemini, one that Jerri quickly broke to look at the rest of the room, keeping her mouth shut as Heidi continued to 'look' out of the corner of Jerri's eye.
Oh... and I thought he looked good in uniform... Jerri, look back at him. Even you can't deny he's got the bod.

"Just shut up," Jerri hissed under her breath. "I want to know what Inferno's got planned."

"I must ask. Is this to be a physical training session? The exercise would be somewhat redundant for myself if that is so." NeXT enquired politely. Nevertheless, he decided it wouldn't hurt to try and exercise. He tried to close a fist, keeping an eye on the camera monitoring his distant body. The fingers didn't so much as twitch.

Mike nodded at Inferno. "Better to be early than late." He said. His eyes glanced at Jerri before glancing down at his watch, seeing how much time was left before training was supposed to start.

"We have a few minutes left" said Sunrise as he walked into the room. He felt a little bloated, the primary problem of having to swallow a bunch of water with one's food. And because his stomach could not distend much he could not eat a lot at once. Still he was ready to go if they were. He figured he had about 5 megawatts left he could absorb before he risked an accidental release.

"Somewhat physical, NeXT. But mostly a team building and experience testing exercise." Inferno looked around, counting everyone. "Looks like you're all here. Good. Since you are, let's get going."

Inferno led the group out of the front room of the training bay and into the back virtual trainer. Here hardlight constructs and robots were the order of the day. Inferno led them a little ways in and then turned around. "I'm sure most of you are familiar with a room similar to this. We're going to be running a scenario. It doesn't get much use but my first leader insisted on having us go through it until we figured out how to do it right." Inferno paused as he turned around and walked away from the group and towards the control room. "I will be in the control room observing how you deal with the scenario. Any questions?"
