I'm betting if Cyncat knew more about military, the Combaticons would be played as such.

But Nit and I had one word for this. "Brutal"

Never try to play Human Politics with a Drow.

That should be a proverb. or the title of a chapter of Kaeryn's treatise on Drow.

Well, why should he? He can teleport to them in an instant.

Good to see Nalifan's trust is with the right people. They seem to be doing well by themselves so far.

Wow.. you are really productive this week

New Maladar, always wonderful. A nice brutal war as always.

New Campfire Tale, once again showing why ghouling an animal can be an advantage. Vampires expect human ghouls, but a war-trained horse weighing nearly a ton and backed by Potence? Oh yeah.

Just remember, all that pretty 'dancing' done by the Lippanzer Stallions started out as battle-maneuver training. That Rear-Up/Jump/Back-kick that looks so amazing? That was meant to kill mounted riders. Expensive as HELL to get a horse that well-trained, but well worth the price.

So yes, great stories here.

but I'm going to withhold Judgment on the 40K Humor. So far, it's a bad pun, worthy of only a few groans.

You know, I hate it when you start with bang like that.

It makes me wonder WTF is going on, and even if I'm not that into the setting, it makes me want to kick you into posting more info RIGHT NOW.

The procession winded beneath the spires of the ancient city
I was going to say that didn't sound right, and then I realized I couldn't spell 'wound' (wowned?) right.

Beautiful chapter, for something that was only describtives.

Wound is correct. One of English's little fun idiosyncrasies.
Never shall innocent blood be shed, yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river.

The three shall spread their blackened wings and be the vengeful striking hammer of god.

I have to wonder if Khalid will survive it, since the paragraph before had been bragging about his strength.

But that was the future. The present awaited. Konstantin urged his horse back down the mountain road to see what Italy had in store for him.
Final Death.

Unless this is a Alt-History.

A vampire threatened by a paladin? Muahahahahahahahaha! Stick to D&D Rogue. Other games are too hard on the lawful stupid.

I've played Hunter and the Storyteller was using the V:tM rules for the villains rather than the watered down versions in the Hunter manual; I know how it goes. I managed, with a little help from my friends.

That would be more impressive if one of those friends hadn't been the GM.

I see now the death was to set up the Son's trip to the stars, and to give him a good reason for trying to hire the best and then find the best risk/gain trips.

Because, eventually, he'll come back.

Pffft. No. He was doing his level best to kill us all. But mages who will make your shotgun shells emit light in the ultraviolet spectrum are handy.
