I've spoken to Devonie. She's been helping run CubScout Day Camp this week, and has been too worn out to post.

Can't say as I blame her... 20-some CubScouts for roughly 8hrs? That'd wear me out. Plus she's got two of her own.

Make that over 200 kids (boys and girls, mostly scouts, but some not) in 1/2 shifts from 9 am to 5:15 with only a 15 min break for lunch. I slept all day today.

We had at least one meltdown every day (tying knots is HARD, I can't do it *waaaaaaahhhhhhh*), including one who was screaming, stomping and physically threatening the teens working with him. I had to forcible remove him from my area. It's nice to arrive expecting to be a counselor and discovering you're the section head *sigh*.

Anyway... I'm home for a few days now and will be posting ASAP...
