Damn.

What was the point of getting him all riled up like that, though? It seems like a strange way to deliver legal documents. :/

Served and witnessed, including V's violent outburst, which almost certainly will be used as evidence against letting V have custody of the kids.

To be honest I don't see V really fighting for anything more then visitation rights. Let's be blunt here, V is engaged in a high speed, mobile, violent lifestyle, sure the current quest is gonna be wrapped up not to long from now but what about the aftereffects? The Elf has to know that the kids would only get themselves hurt.

Probably the wiser decision under the circumstances.

It looks like the Western Continent includes South American/Spanish culture as well as being inspired by the Middle East.

A bit of character for Hailey there, it's interesting to see how rogues raise their kids.

That bit about Mommie went to heaven is only to throw buttloads of fuel on the fire in regards to Hailey's secret...

Indeed it does.Although I can't seem to remember any case where Haley has given Roy reason to doubt her loyalty to the party. :/

Also, from 680, more milking of the running gag re: Durkon's delusional phobia of trees. :)

Of course there were going to be problems with finding Haley's dad, perhaps she should go see a historian, if anything older than two years ago is "ancient history".

Beaten by a tree. Not one of Durkon's better moments. :)

Hopefully, they'll get going in the next comic.

Haley likely believes this because Haley believes this about most others. Remember she's been raised from practically from birth to not trust? It's a bit of projection. Roy probably trusts her less then he does Durkon (but come one, that dwarf is a like a fucking rock, completely reliable) but more then he trusts Belkar, V or even Elan.

Chain lightning lets you chose your targets and subtargets, it's not a area spell.

The joke, Hotfoot, was hitting Elan to pun-ish him for the bad puns.

Don't make me call for some chain lightening in your area Tev.

Two things, Belkar is a halfing of his word... And don't touch the cat.

Yup, and right now, it sucks to be Belkar.

I don't think he's fooling his companions any more (if he ever did), regardless of what passersby might think.

I don't know he seems to be enjoying himself

Is it me or is he reading Dune and rooting for Baron Harkoken?

That's exactly what he's doing.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.
