Holden grins some more, but remains in his stance. She's got a mouth, fueled by the cold composure of three clans in one body. It must be crowded in there, yet once they become molded and experienced...

"Yes," replies Broken Stick. Black acknowledges Holden's comment with a nod.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

"I hate to dissapoint, but I have been told I am of the Nosferatu clan. Though, I do sing from time to time." Her clawed hands fold in front of her.
Cassie frowns. "You don't sing, _I_ sing."

Broken Stick shrugged.

And Rosemary falls silent. Impressions are fleeting, and now she can be forgotten. She prefers it that way.

Marcus watched the two. The ventrue was doing his ventrue thing and being a good little brown-noser. Meanwhile the Nosferatu. Something was familiar about that voice. He couldn't place it though.

Cassie's eyes raise up to Marcus and the twisted lips smile to him in acknowledgement.
Ill wait, Rosemary, but I want to talk to him, " Cassie said.
"Perhaps he doesn't want to talk to you!" Mary scoffed.
"Soon," Rosemary placated.

Marcus glanced around him, wondering if perhaps another one of the sewer rats was near him. There wasn't, not noticable ones anyway. Had that smile been intended for him? What the hell was that rat playing at? Had the other uglies told her about his talk with them already? The confusion on his face lasted only a moment before it was covered.

Cassie says quietly, "What's the matter, cat got your tongue?" And giggles like a school girl. It is a strange sound coming from the those lips.
Rosemary exhales. Cassie frowns. "What? I didnt do anything wrong!"

Marcus studies the creature for a moment. She, from her talking that much was obvious, knew him. She, sounded like... no. "Have we me-" it struck Marcus like a bolt. "Ah yes, of course. I remember you from my time in New York." Marcus put a hand on her shoulder and led her away from the crowds. What the hell had happened to her?

Rosemary is careful to include "Pardon me" to the Prince and Holden as she is led away, her leg dragging behind her.
Resigned, Rosemary relents, "All right, Cassie. It is your turn. Just be careful."

Marcus takes Cassie into one of the siderooms where private discussions are often held.

Marcus did a quick bow. "I shall return her as soon as I have caught up on old times." With that she was led away from the crowds. "What the hell happened to you? Keep it down."

Alone at last, Cassie smiles openly. "Oh Marcus, I am so glad to see a familiar face! What happened to you? Were you hurt? " She looks past him. "Where's Wright?" Even with the ugliness that has befallen her, she is beaming. There is no doubt who is in control of the body at this moment.

Marcus shook his head. "I'm fine. Wright is staying with me for now." Marcus looked into her eyes. "What happened to you?" Marcus's mind was awhirl. Who the hell would do this? An unsanctioned siring? She would be dead if that got out... Not now, now was not the time for this. At least wait until she knew what was going on.

"Well I went to this church and ...I think I found the devil. Mary says that I lost to him, but I don't know what she is talking about. I am still here, aren't I?" She looks naievly at him. "Though I have made a new acquaintance besides Mary. Her name is Rosemary. She and Holden are helping me. Helping me do what, I am not sure. I think get home, but I ain't too sure. Did the warehouse go up?"

Marcus looked at her in confusion. "Wait wait, who's Mary? Who's Rosemary? I don't think you found the devil, just a very stupid nosferatu, we'll look into that. As for the warehouse, it's gone." This was, kind of going places.

She looks from side to side as though making sure no one is around, and whispers conspiratorily to Marcus, "Mary is the one who set that poor man on fire. She is not very nice at all." As an after thought, she admits. "She reminds me of Wright, but with a different figure. Anyway, Rosemary is so understanding. She makes sure that we are all taken care of. She has been my audience while I practice for the next number for Wright's warehouse. Though now that it is burnt down, I figure it will be his next club." She giggles.
Mary beats her head against the cage, "I cant take this any more. The bitch has got to go

Marcus smiled, only on the outside, but Cassie wouldn't be able to tell. So, she was insane now. Great. He'd done a good job that meant. A slight pang hit him but he shrugged it off. "Alright. After this is done I'll see what I can do to help you out. I don't know if that Holden guy's told you, but you shouldn't let people in on what happened to you and how. Did that nosferatu that attacked yuo give any clues to who he might be?"

Her brow furrows as she tries to remember, "Rosemary is better at this stuff than I am. But, he told me that I shouldnt pray, because no one would hear me. And I ended up crying and telling him he was right. Because no one was helping me as he was hurting me. And then he said he would punish me, for not being wise, and then, I felt ...amazing. But that is all I remember. Oh, and don't worry. I don't tell anyone this kind of stuff. Matter of fact, Rosemary takes care of most our business."

Marcus nodded. "Good. We'll figure this out later. For now you need to be better introduced to the others out there."

At this, Rosemary is very quick to respond. "No." A single clawed hand falls on Marcus' arm. The voice is different in tone, and her expressions are cool and composed. "Holden has created an identity for us. It would mean death for one created without permission. We know of the laws."

Marcus nodded. "But the longer you're in here with me the more suspicious people are gonna get. Dragging Cassie away right after her being introduced was bad enough. I hope your bullshitting skills are good."

Rosemary shakes her head. "I was introduced when Holden was. The law has been upheld. Calm down, 'old friend from New York'. Now we must collaborate and have a story together on why a newly embraced childe would be in New York with a sire who had died in Memphis, working with one of your...stature, none the less." Rosemary folds her arms.

Marcus scrunched up his nose in some annoyance. "Your sire had business in Buffalo, what that was is up to you. During that time I was also there helping against the sabbat." This much was true, in a way. "He came to me for questions about what I might know about the Sabbat of the area. That is when we met. His business there was short and the two of you returned to Memphis." Marcus snarled down in his gut, damn Cassie for being so outward about their knowing each other.
