Yay!Dark Horse Comics and Nickelodeon have announced a collaboration to publish Avatar: The Last Airbender comic books, beginning with a Free Comic Book Day offering on May 7, 2011, that will package 2 stories with Star Wars: The Clone Wars comics in a flip book format. It will be followed in 2012 by a 240-page collection titled Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Lost Adventures, which will collect comics previously published in Nickelodeon magazine plus over 70 pages of previously unpublished material. Early 2012 will bring new digest-sized original graphic novels picking up where the season three finale left off, chronicling Aang and his friends' efforts to rebuild the world after a century of warfare.
