Rosemary's alien brow quirks up as her clawed hands curl to her twisted lips. "And what is a Sabbat, please?" Her tone is casual.

Marcus shrugged. "For the most part nasty guys. From what I've heard they have something against the really old kindred. Kind of understandable. But they're vicious bastards. Soon as tear open a Camarilla throat then talk to them. We're the Camarilla."

Rosemary smiles in a plastic form. Not going to allow her thoughts on how Mary would fit into such a group come out. She nods her head, "Then we are agreed, Marcus. I am Rosemary, but you can call me Rose. And you are right, we would not want the neighbors to talk. Shall we join the others?"

Marcus smiled. "Of course. Let's go." Marcus openned the door and waved a hand allowing Rose to leave first.

Rosemary walks out into the Elysium, her blue eyes casting their gaze cooly on all the corpses. They act as though this is a party. Rosemary is a bit surprised at this, but it does not show on her face. She makes her way back to Holden, dragging her leg behind her.

Holden pauses before speaking "With your permission, my liege..." And he walks slowly backwards from the prince, and helps himself to the unlife in the room.

Good job. Now to find a decent squat and he and the triplets can begin taking care of business.

Rosemary makes her way to Holden and croutches down nearby him, whispering in his ear.

Marcus stepped out into the crowd again, letting the two that were new to the city get acquainted with the other kindred.

Rosemary looks at Holden and smiles with understanding. "I know." She says in hushed tones. "I hope to avoid any ...confrontations."

"Understood, miss." He tips his head to her, and makes the pleasantries with the curiosities for a moment, making his way towards Marcus. "Hey, good to see ya again." And he leans in with hushed whispers, "Say, know a spot that's not currently...'occupied'?"

Rosemary stays back and watches the others in the room.

"Fe fi fo fum, I smell the blood of a virgin's cum," Mary hisses at Cassie for spite. The scent of blood lingering somewhere in the room, or on a patron. Rosemary is glad they have eaten.[/i]

Marcus looked at the Ventrue, sizing him up rather obviously. "There's probably some unoccupied territory in the rail yards. Beyond that I'm not really sure of any prime unoccupied spots in the city."

The vampires gathered around the warehouse floor. Some watched from the cat walks, others from the sides. Four blazing drums were set in the center. Four weapons were lowered on chains into the blazes. A doubled bladed battle axe, a large kukri knife, a scimitar, and a great sword.

The two contestants stalked the edge of a wide circle. The androgynous Fiend spoke from the catwalk. "Let the Rite of Monomancy begin."

The man sped forward, a blur of inhuman speed and power. The woman vanished in a cloud of darkness. Black tendrils errupted from the shadows cast by the firelight, seizing the chain attached to the scimitar and lifting the weapon from the flames and high into the air.

The man backpeddled out of the darkness. He saw the scimitar being raised up and freed by the chain by the nest of tentacles. He dived among them, shredding their shadowy substance with his bare hands.

The darkness rolled forward and engulfed him. Inside the inky shroud the woman crashed into the man, sending him flying. He was up in a flash, speeding back towards her. The writhing tentacles struck at him. He pulled them apart easily, slowed instead of stopped.

The scimitar, dropped by the attacking tentacles fell. The woman leapt and ceased the weapon in leather gloved hand. The heat was intent, burning flesh even through flesh. The instinct, even stronger in a vampire than a human, was to drop it. Instead her fingers closed around it. The blade came down.

He man's head came loose along with a splatter of blood. It bounced on the floor and rolled for a few feet. She dropped the sword.

"The Rite is complete," intoned the Fiend. "Detroit has a new Archbishop. All hail Carlotta La Sanguinaire!"

A stocky man with a neatly trimmed beard emerged from the sidelines. His suit was expensive and perfect. The woman bowed. "I recognize and confirm you in your position, Archbishop. Rise and serve your brothers and sisters in Caine." Cheering errupted as the next phase of the rite began.

Why had he come to this city again? Oh yeah, the ticket was cheap, and he had to go somewhere.

A lot of good coming here had done him, he didn't even have a proper shelter yet and hiding from the sun in the trainyards was getting tiresome. At least whatever was going on hadn't bothered him, but still, some of it was too close for comfort.

Time to move on. Rent an apartment, find a job, all those little bothers.

Nathaniel stepped out of the abandoned hovel he had found and smelled the night air. The smells came to him under the well crafted silvery mask covering his entire face. His well trimmed, short hair and ears only visible aside from the eyes. Dark, dark blue, his eyes could tell entire stories to those that dared to understand.

<Get on it then, the night won't stop for you!>

He could go to Elysium, ask around there for possible jobs, a place to stay... he didn't want to, but Nate wouldn't have stayed in the train yards. No, he had to get established.

Hesitantly, but with growing feigned confidence, Nathaniel walked toward where he remembered Elysium was.

Holden nods slowly, and tips his head to Marcus. "Thank ya kindly." He moved on to the others, making greets, then returned to Cassie.

"Tonight there may be an eviction of the highest quality." He flashed a fangy smile at her.

Carlotta stripped naked in front of the assembled vampires and reclined in portable bath. The bearded vampire and his retainers stepped forward. A razor edged knife glittered in his hand.

"I, Kyle Strathcona, Cardinal of our sacred brotherhood, confirm Carlotta La Sanguinaire in her rightful place as Archbishop of Detroit." The blade flashed, and blood oozed from his wrist into the tub. He passed the knife.

Another slash and more blood. And another and another and another. Every vampire came forward and made their contributions to the blood bath. It took nearly an hour.

She stood up, her flesh slimy with blood. "My brothers and sisters, I shall keep you, guide you, and lead you. I shall share in your dangers and shield you from hardships. As my first order, let the blood feast commence!"

A dozen mortals were issued into the room. They had been reduced to zombie status by use of the disciplines. They were strung up on the same chains the weapons were dangled from, head first over the remnants of the blood bath. The bacchanal began.

Marcus waited patiently for Cassie, or was it Rose, to finish with the kindred around her. He examined her changes, it was amazing how swiftly the changes overtook the Nosferatu. Now she was ripe for what was to happen as well.

"Well miss, it's your call. Hard part's over, now we just need a place to call home" He shot her a smile. Must have looked strange as hell in a place like this, but apparently he didn't give a damn.

Rose has observed the Kindred play their little games. At this time she is not involved in the local politics, nor has she an interest to become so. Right now, it is all about survival, and learning about what she is becomming. That is the one thing that all of them could agree on - Rosemary, Mary, and Cassie.

She says quietly to Holden, "I will be back." Giving a look that is clear that she needs to get out of this room.

She steps out of the room they are in, into a more secure or quiet area, and rests against the wall, resigning herself to the shadows. It is then that the pain hits her again, doubling her over. No, sweet Jesus no, Cassie whimpers. They had thought they were done with the transformation. But no, like the eye of a hurricane, only the first wave had passed. How long will this go on? It seems like this night will never end.

Holden nods and stands awaiting her return... pausing to check his fingernails and doing all those "nervous ticks" the Ventrue have that get on the other Clans' nerves. On purpose, of course. It draws out the generic blood-spite, so he can label who's who.

Marcus watched as Rose left the room, she couldn't leave that way without breaking something, so he wasn't worried. He looked back at the Texan, this Holden character. He shook his head and snorted at the typical ventrue.

After a few more moments, Holden runs out of things to do. And rather than commit to listening to some snot-bastard youth spouting about 'hardships' for an hour, he decides to meander in Cassie's direction.

His lip tugs in a smirk; he would rather not seem as impatient but the Elysium is not a place he would like to be near as daylight draws close.

Cassie is holding the sides of her head, where blood is gushing from her ears, as her ears push forward and begin to transform. Pointing at the tips, reshaping in size and composure, and melding to her neck. Rosemary keeps their mouth closed, even though Mary is destroying things in their mind, and Cassie is screaming in pain internally. However, the scent of blood is something that cannot be controlled, coming from her shadow.

Ah there it was, Elysium. House of monsters playing at being something better. It was deplorable really, how far they had fallen from grace, from humanity. The thought made him resolve, again, to never fall so far. There was no way he, Nathaniel, could call those monsters part of his own.

He trudged on, uncomfortable as he neared the building and its occupants, when something whispered as if from another time, another place. Soothing, sing-song like, mocking, it echoed from the back of his mind, barely there yet demanding attention.

Not like you? Oh no, the great Nathaniel could never be a monster! If you're so perfect then why do you hide behind that mask, you paragon of morals?

A flash of pain shot through Nathaniel's eyes, but his step never faltered and he betrayed nothing else to the night. It was best to ignore it, and soon he would forget it ever happened. Well, almost.

Time to get this done. Spying the guard he approached and identified himself.

Another mess.

Holden sighed as he watched, shaking his head. The local Nosferatu must suspect something is up; watching her intently and making all their damnable notations... the worst part is that she will be one of them completely soon, always observing...

Well, that will come in time, and hopefully there will be some sort of trust factor involved. The pain she endures might get in the way of that. He awaits silently as she gives into the change, Rosemary's stoicism obviously at the forefront.
