For the next 90 days, I won't be able to make it to the game.

I was just informed today that my work schedule would be changing from having Mon/Tue off, to having Tue/Wed off, which will change back after the 3 months are up.

All I ask is that someone tells me what the hell happens each Monday now, since I'll definitely be missing the game in favor of a very busy workday.

Okay, cool bit of news. I will soon be able to put everyone's character sheet up in a nicely readable format online, likely minus some of our gear details, so I'll be making an armory list in the near future, but anyway. If everyone could make sure that the character sheets on the character thread are as up to date and accurate as possible, I would appreciate it, and I know Julian would as well.

Also, since next session may involve some purchasing of toys, I am going to have to INSIST that anything anyone wants be posted here, sent to me via PM, email, Skype, AIM, or smoke signals in the following format:

If I know these things ahead of time, it greatly reduces the amount of time each trip takes. If I do not have the lists, you're on your own, especially if you miss the game. If it is not written down, do not assume I remember it. I'd rather not spend another session shopping, we have Orks to kill, after all.

Okay, got CT, Havoc, Karrick, Marcao, and myself. That leaves Frigid, Charon, and Soontir.

The list is huge so far, and I mean big. Keep them coming, you might not get everything you want this time, but we'll keep trying as we go. We're only going to do 7, maybe 8 tests over all for the purposes of keeping us at Port Wander once we get there, all personal and crew-related acquisitions will be handled between games.

It might be a good idea to see about getting some of our purchases done outside of the game session in order to avoid everyone having to watch Hotfoot, Havoc, and myself rolling acquisition checks all night. How specifically we might handle that, I'm not sure. Lets keep in mind that we're also going to have to put in for repairs and replenish crew/armsmen.

We have currently over one hundred separate acquisition checks on our shopping list, and that's after I've combined the ones where people want basically the same things. The current plan I have is to make some critical acquisitions that will keep us at our next port of call for a reasonable length of time so we can explore, get in trouble, and otherwise do things or have the GM do things to us. The rest will likely be handled between sessions as we will essentially be disgorging thousands of our minions into the station to get what we want and/or need.

We might be able to work in one personal check for each player, but aside from that the vast majority of the checks must be handled between games or there simply will be nothing else to do but roll.

Not that I'm complaining that we have a large list of things we want or that we can get. This is good, it gives us reasons to go certain places, and once we gather it all up into one place we will be quite well equipped for a great many things.

Plus, and I apologize for this, probably more than half of those rolls are from my character alone, as I'm new to the game and this is the first chance I've had to buy anything at all. Future shopping lists, though still large, should be more manageable.

I don't much like or understand the mechanics, nor have the will to get into understanding those mechanics. Honestly, most nights that I did show up it was just to hang out with you guys, not to game. Sorry to disappoint but I really just don't have the will to keep playing.

So Havoc can't make Monday and since Monday's session was going to be rather Havoc centric that leaves two options:

2) Steve runs Deathwatch

I suggest people get Deathwatch characters ready. Steve, I suggest using the errata weapon rules, which makes weapons other than bolters actually worthwhile.
