A clawed hand reaches from the shadows and grabs Holden's leg with firm grip. Cassie's blue eyes reach up to him from the shadows, imploring assistance from him.

Marcus watched Holden enter the room Cassie had entered and followed after quickly, closing the door behind him swiftly. The smell of blood was thick. "What the hell?" was all he could think to say.

Holden kneels as he is grasped, and his head whips back with a hiss as someone enters the room...and drops the act when he realizes it is Marcus. "Where's the fire, sir?"

Rosemary will not allow the sounds to leave the body. She sees the logic in keeping things to a quiet hush between those who would already know, or the unfortunate who might stumble across them. Cassie cannot open the mouth, only her eyes, begging. Full of such pain.

Marcus swore under his breath and made sure the door was locked. "Keep your voice down, and get something to cover her face, the last thing we need now are questions as to why she's bleeding though I'm sure I could think of something if it came down to it." Marcus looked at Cassie, what the hell was going on now? Whatever it was, they should get her out of here before more questions start being asked.

Holden couldn't argue with the logic.
"We just need to get the hell out of here. I don't think she's done just yet." He looks around, but doesn't find much of anything to cover her head with. They took their coats at the door and to even ask would be committing ritual suicide.

And then, the hand relents from Holden and Rosemary stands. From out of the shadows, her ears have pointed, grown in size and now are permanently attached to her neck. The blood is around her ears and head around her ears. She says very calmly, "Holden, can you retrieve the coat?"

Marcus headed back towards the door. "I'll run distraction." He had a vested interest in this new to the blood making it out without dying again. He openned the door, heading back into the main room, closing the door behind him.

Relieved to find the guard recognized him from the other night Nathaniel was allowed in with minimal fuss.
Looking around the common area he hoped to catch the eye of someone a little more inclined to help him out than average monster joe. The dim lighting glinted off his silver face as he searched.

"Yes, miss.." Twitch. Will this continue indefinitely? Holden left the room silently to retrieve coats from the doorguard. "The lady is indisposed for the moment.. besides, it isn't proper to be unprepared, ain't it?" He eyeballs the one attempting entrance briefly, offering a curt nod before sliding down to the chamber room again.

Marcus noticed a glint off the light and followed it. That mask was new. Some Toreador making a display? Marcus quickly headed over to the person, hoping that was just it. "Hello there, wonderful mask you've got there. Just get it?"

Nathaniel nods back briefly. This one looked friendly as they go, but was apparently on his way out, in a hurry too it seemed.imperfect vision wrote:He eyeballs the one attempting entrance briefly, offering a curt nod before sliding down to the chamber room again.

Rose was waiting, and took a coat with a clawed bloody hand. She is cool and collected, and does not let Cassie out, even from the eyes.
"Let's go." She says as she puts on her towel.

A small wrinkle around the eyes indicates a smile.Charon wrote:"Hello there, wonderful mask you've got there. Just get it?"
"No, I've had this thing for years now, it covers a face I don't want others to see."
This was promising, sure it was something of an insult, but the guy did stop to talk.
"I'm here looking for some kind of employment, some place to stay. Recommendations and the like. Nothing to fancy, could you enlighten me perhaps?"

Marcus looked at him closely. "You're new in town? You been introduced yet?"

Holden nodded and placed his hands behind his back, leading Cassie away from the room as cool as a cucumber. He gave the same polite nods he gave when he entered, and turned up to the door. "I think we gots plenty to talk about, sir," as he approaches Marcus.

Rosemary observes through her towel the one with a mask, wondering what the kindred behind has to cover.
Cassie sobs in their mind, in extraordinary pain that does not end. "Oh, he is one of us! Maybe he can help!"
Although Rosemary doubts it, remembering the words of the rebirth, she eyes the stranger with subtle curiousity.

"Just rolled in two nights ago. I've made the important greetings, but I have no place to stay or much of an idea where to find a good deal. I also am looking for work, I have some skill with metal and other things."Charon wrote:Marcus looked at him closely. "You're new in town? You been introduced yet?"

Marcus thought for a second. "I do know someone looking for work, but no places to stay." Marcus fished out a pencil and paper, writting down his address. "Come by there sometime and we'll see what we can do for you. But I'd definately look to your primogen for a place to stay." Marcus looked back at Holden. "Indeed we do. Wait outside, I need to finish up here." With that Marcus looked back at the masked man. "Might I know your name?"

Holden nodded, but before he could lead her out, Cassie had to go and do her thing... He froze, but loosened up after a moment, keeping his hands behind him. 'Damn,' he thinks. But that is all; he takes a moment to repair his front, and starts giving off the firm controlled aura of an experienced Ventrue.

Nathaniel takes the offered address, reads it quickly and puts it in his shirt pocket.Charon wrote:Marcus thought for a second. "I do know someone looking for work, but no places to stay." "Thankyou for the help."
"Oh how rude of me. My name's Nathaniel. My last name is unimportant to me. You go by...?""Might I know your name?"

"Wait" Rosemary says and looks up at the strange, masked man.
They reach up with a clawed hand to the mask and touches the material.

Marcus smiled "Marcus, the local Lasombra Antitribu." Marcus bowed. "If you'll excuse me however, I do have rather pressing matters. Best of luck. Like I said your primogen would be best to meet if you're looking for a place to stay." Marcus looked at Cassie in curiousity. "You should really be getting outside."

He hisses involuntarily, quietly, before carefully--but not without urgency--guides the taloned hand away from his face.Bratty wrote:"Wait" Rosemary says and looks up at Silence.

"Just bronze with a pewter skin. Nothing terrible interesting I assure you. But, I must insist that it stay undisturbed."
Inside his blood ran cold, and gloating whispers and echoes of remembered triumph filled his mind for a few horrible seconds. The eyes again showed the pain he tried to hide, but it was soon gone.
"And just what might your name be?"
EDIT: The italics make a big difference...

At the hiss, the claw retracts into itself. No outward sign of anything. "I am Rosemary, but you can call me Rose, if you prefer. It was not my intention to offend but observe. Excuse me."
Cassie cries inside, not just because of the physical pain but because of the cool regard. Whimpering, "But Holden said I was still beautiful"
Mary growls, "Grow the fuck up. You are ugly as sin. You better get used to worse treatment then this. Personally, I would have eaten your hands for touching my mask."
Rosemary says to Holden, "Sorry to hold you up. Let's go now."
