I'll try to write something this weekend. Still don't feel all that great, but I think the bug has been eradicated from my system. Now it's the post-war recovery, my respiratory system is still a right mess that needs to be cleaned up.

I'm sorry. I know to not mess with characters or objects established by other players or the GM, that's elementary stuff. I just figured there would be no harm in killing some extras to set the scene if I made them up myself. I'll narrate more conservatively in the future.

Umm, just to double check. What happened to Blastcap is that the floor exploded, and she fell through it to a lower deck. Leaving her isolated and immobile, unless she transforms, before an entire heavy weapons company?

You fell through the exploding deck (houses have floors, ships have decks) in front of a Mechkhal heavy weapons company (that's not entirely literal) who blew your treads off. Otherwise you are undamaged but without treads your vehicle form can't move. You can still shoot all you want.

That was... a very big boom. If I had wanted a big boom I wouldn't have used the charges that are for "when something needs to be blasted open without levelling the whole block." The heavy ordnance was running on the fuel cell. This is one of these things where you'll have to bow to my experience. Tossing bombs into a heavy weapons company results in additional explosions.

When fuel cells blow they really blow. Really energy dense capacitors and batteries are also potentially extremely volatile as are propellent and, of course, many explosives. No matter what way you slice it, the energy that does the damage from heavy weapons has to come from somewhere and many of those energy sources will go boom.

A pity we didn't have Blastcap with the main group though. Blast doors really are her bag.

I have some faith that the massive quantities of ordinance that the rest of us are sporting will contrive to resolve the problem.
