I've never played or really paid attention to the first game - but this game looks interesting, from the trailers I'm seeing. I've already begun seeing people I know on Steam playing it, so here's my question:

What is this game like, gameplay-wise? The trailers certainly looked intriguing, but then again, trailers are meant to.

Well, how to explain gameplay..

Mix God Of War style combat, Prince Of Persia style movement, a decent story properly paced, characters which you can immediately differetiate, massive, beautifully made worlds, and bosses of truly ridiculous scale.
Half-Damned, All Hero.

Me: Evil is so inappropriate. I'm ruthless.

I'm watching and helping navigate the puzzles with Nitram, and I have to say that this game is so fuckin' beautiful. The puzzles are challenging without tearing your hair out, and none of them seem out-of-place with the scenery.

As he said, the fights are very hack/slash through waves of XP... uh... enemies. Boss Fights are far different. So far we've had Zelda-style boss fights, a Shadow of Colossus beat-down, and I can't wait to see what else it throws at us. However, the "you want this, get me this" quests are getting a little old. You can also predict when/where a mini-boss fight will show up.

But the script is the best part. I will be stealing many.
