It's cool, I was just putting the finishing touches on the scene for you.
The Borg Queen strode forward, flanked by like six hundred drones. Shirazi sat tied to the chair before her, a cigarette dangling from the corner of his mouth. He took a drag, then spat the butt defiantly at her feet.

"Do you expect me to talk?" he said.

"No, Mister Shirazi, I expect you to die."

"Perhaps you'd like to say hello to my little friend first," he said.

At that moment, the Meh'Ta burst into view above their heads. Slashing fire from its batteries scythed through the ranks of the assembled Borg. Meru sat at the conn and mashed down on the external speaker. "Told you I'd be back. Now get away from him, you bitch!"

The Queen dodged through the blasts from the ship's batteries as the Borg drones fell while making futile attempts to return fire. She skidded to a stop as Shirazi stepped forward, weapon in hand.

"Now I have a disrupter," he said. "Ho ho ho."
There's a fair bit more, but that's pretty much the gist of it. I'll take over whenever you get busy, no problem.

Scene above best envisioned with lots of lens flare.

Crap.

Everyone else is shielding the 'tender, so I guess that means I get to try to take those two frigates after all.

It's your moment to shine.

Somebody's got to. The first string is not having a very good day out on the front line.

Cheer up, Tev - the GM didn't describe your ship as a slaughterhouse, at least. That's a start, right?

I would go with you, but all my crew is aboard the tender... All of It. I will see if I can get Cameron to join you...

Meh, I'll just whine to Nitram about no longer playing the Vigilance, and having the Borgified Marines on hand.

Hey everyone,

I just got back to my apartment in Yonkers NY tonight safe and sound. I will see how quickly I can catch up.

Hey Marcao. I got your message via PM, but didn't deploy it into the IC thread yet. Let me know if you'd like me to simply do so, or if you want to do something else.

I will be posting tonight. Ideally, we will touch bases and figure things out before then. I did work on those posts so I am not particularly inclined in not using them, but I may -add- to them in order to take into consideration the tactical situation descending upon the formation.

We had netting at night, but I did not pack a bee keeper's outfit for her. She was also using 50% DEET repellant as often as a nun prays. Even if I had managed to procure some bee-keeper like outfit, most days it would have been way too hot for her to go walking around in it. However, we saw quite a bit of the northern part of the Island. It was a very memorable trip that neither of us is likely to forget. ^_^

The rolling gun battle with El Jefe's men and Papa Doc's abandoned secret base in the mountains sounded particularly interesting.

We won't need eyes where we're going.

In fact, blindness will probably be a major morale booster.

Well the main complaint about the Defiants is that they're kinda cramped. Plenty of room now and a nice choice of bunks to boot!

Yeah! Some of them might need some industrial strength cleanser, though...

Not to be pushy here or anything Havoc, but I'm champing at the bit here.

I mean, I can totally write this ensuing sphere shootout up if you want. I've got a soundtrack and everything.
