"Speaking of violence, who's this fuck?" Holden smirked and crossed his arms as the bum rushed towards them. "I see you've been leaving the mark of your clan behind you, sir." He glanced at Marcus.

Marcus chuckled. Were they certain Cassie hadn't been embraced by a Malkavian? "While that is very true, you conveniently avoided my question. Why were you looking for me?" Marcus heard the extra voice and looked back at the hobo who was pointing a finger at him. He looked somewhat annoyed at being interrupted by what looked like a mortal.

Rosemary snaps her head to look at the bum. "Looks like you got a friend." She says to Marcus as she begins to circle to the left.Cynical Cat wrote:A bum stepped out from behind a railcar. His clothes were tattered and dirty, his beard and hair long. He pointed his finger at Marcus, who was still marked by the blood of his kill. "You leech son-of-a-bitch! Laughing it up with your leech buddies now, is that it? You and yours are overdue for what's coming to you!" He stomped forward, face twisted in rage.

Nathaniel couldn't help noticing the man was angry enough to do something distastful. And if he was as mortal as he looked, well he prefered not to think about the outcome. Marcus was a Lasombra afterall, and he had not heard pleasant things about that particular clan.
He focused on dulling the man's emotions; sooth his rage, if only for a bit.

"Yeah you," the bum raged. "High and fucking mighty vampires, even if some of you have faces uglier than my ass. I'm going to fuck you up and then I'm going to get nasty." There was no fear in him and he was big, but apparently unarmed.

The bum approaches, apparently unconcerned about Cassie's flanking attempt.

The bum is out of line. Mary wants a piece of that.
"Patience," Rosemary says aloud to multiple parties. She continues to circle around to the back. "Sir, I recommend you leave this area. Immediately." She warns the bum.

The hair on the back of Holden's neck stood up. Calling them out on what they are, sure, but is there more than the outside layer? He crouches a little and backs up slightly, sniffing the air again.

The man is still angry, Nathaniel backs away, shying from combat.

Marcus sighed and shook his head. "I don't have time for this." With a wave of his hand tentacles shot out of the shadows around the man and wrapped around his legs. With a mighty tug they pulled his feet out from under him. Marcus looked over at Cassie "Could you be a doll dear and find me some loose rail spikes?" Marcus turned back to his prey "Now then. You've distracted my friends and I from our business. I expect an apology."

The man roared and tore himself out of the tentacle's grasp. He had seemingly put on an extra foot in height and become even harrier. A swipe of his clawed hand removed the Marcus's lower jaw, nose, and left eye as it lifted the Lasombra up off his feet and spilled him down onto the ground. The transformation was complete. Before them stood and eight and a half foot tall lupine creature, with mixed brown and grey fur. Blood dripped from its right claw. "Leaches . . . .die!"

Mary HISSES violently and crouches down to spring into action. However, Rosemary FIRMLY takes charge and moves back into the shadows. It does the three of them no good to die today.

Marcus went down like a sack of bricks. He quickly rolled and thanked himself for sticking around to learn the basics of how to take damage like that. To hell with the rest of this for now he needed to run. The world went black and Marcus ran, blood being pumped into his legs. His mind raced on where he could go to get away from this thing. Maybe into the city proper. It would take too long to get his car started.

Feeling not at all up to fighting a bum let alone a nightmare he had only heard about--and nothing good mind--Nathaniel made haste in his attempt to find cover, dissapear supernaturally and leave post haste.

Holden's jaw drops, and immediately his eyes go to Cassie. She's drifting away, good. He calls out, "Back at the spot, if able!" Cryptic enough, but hoping it's not too much so. He worked awfully hard to educate her, he'll be damned if he lets some stupid lupine muck up his work.
"Hey drooly!" He curls his fingers in a mockery of the werewolf's claws and hisses while swiftly moving backwards, using the blood to increase his speed.

Achieving the shadows proved harder than he hoped, he opted to run as fast as he could instead. He let his precious blood flow to augment his speed, his grace. He turned tail and ran as swiftly as he could.
Now some time had passed he realized he was no longer in shock, and fear was fast behind him. He strained to hear signs of pursuit, of anything.

Rosemary has taken off into the night. She took the scents and landmarks of the Elysium down in her mind, her memory. That is what she has to assume he means by 'spot'. Additionally, the Elders should be the ones to deal with this problem. Not a neonate Nos, a pansy Tory type, a Lasambra with delusions of grandeur, and a Crusading Ventrue.

The Lupine leapt forward and tore open Marcus's back, severing his spinal cord about half way up. The lightning fast killing machine didn't bother finishing the crippled vampire, but instead charged ahead right at Holden.

Fast bastard. Too fast. Unfortunate he'd never invested in quickness like that himself. However he took two steps forward, pointed behind the Garou, narrowed his eyes as he stared real hard past the gnashing teeth and terrible snout and yelled, "Flee!" Backed up with the power he had. If not, well, there were other ways....
He'd wished he'd invested in a horse.

Marcus went down and didn't look to be getting up. With a scream he began dragging his body forward, trying to find someplace to hide, to heal. Massive amounts of blood went into healing the wound to his back, but the damage was severe and Marcus didn't have enough blood to heal it enough.

The Lupine came to a halted, its clawed feet kicking up gravel, turned around and fled back the way it came.

Rosemary gathers her senses in clear minded fashion to realize she will need to run by the darkness and alleyways. Her face alone is a breech of the Masquerade.

Marcus was near delerious, still crawling for cover. Blood covered the ground he moved over, in a way actually making his passing over the area just a little easier. His eye saw the blood and he stopped, immediately lapping it up as best he could.

Slowly Nathaniel realized he didn't have a plan, he was just running aimlessly. He needed to hide, or get backup. The thing could tear him apart, and probably could sense him out if he hid.
He hears Marcus' distant scream.
<Crap, run faster...>
It occured to him he only knew of one place in this city really, and it happened to have a lot of powerful vampires. He angled towards Elysium's direction and spent the last of the blood he could spare to his limbs, flying along faster than he ever had before.

Holden stood there..
and as soon as the Lupine left his field of view, he crumpled, shaking, holding himself.
Never again.
He was out of his wits for a few moments, before taking tentative steps towards Marcus, watching the wounds mend slightly. A million thoughts floating through his mind, many bloody, many quiet.
Holden kneeled down slowly and gripped him by a half-shoulder and supported the Lasombra in a slow fluid motion. "We must leave." And started hauling him to the car.
