I was taking notes during last night's session, figured it'd be handy to consolidate the info and let us play about with our plotting during the week until the next game.

So!

Target is a research facility belonging to Talispoint, a AA with extraterritoriality and a single listed location in the greater Seattle plex. Most of the AAAs have shares in the company, we don't know if any of them have a controlling interest via shells and whatnot.

The primary objective is a datasnatch which will necessitate site penetration to access data on a new foci production method from sealed servers. Secondary objectives include snatching any prototype foci present on site, as well as destruction of records and the lab.

Said lab is within a three story office building located in Redmond. Neighborhood has been described as slummy, but in the process of being gentrified.

Site security itself appears minimal (by sixth world standards), a simple chain-link fence topped with razor wire, single gate for entry/exit (safety fail!) with a single-occupant guardhouse. Building has three-sixty camera coverage, no other apparent defenses, mundane or mystical. Unidentified structure on the roof may be a drone storage hutch (It'll probably receive a couple of grenades and some gauss rounds just in case).

On-site security appears to be rotating shifts of six guards per shift, day and night. Single guard stays at the gate, remainder work inside the facility. No foot patrols were observed.

Site has satellite uplink/reception equipment on the roof.

Site has a carrier signal security setup with Lone Star, if the signal is interrupted a response team will be dispatched. Calculated window of arrival for the response team is between five and ten minutes.

Primary entrance to the building has a crash barrier.

We've only had a couple of days of observation, so the picture isn't complete yet, but observed outside contractors thus far have been trash service (Single dumpster) and nightly janitorial service (three metas in a van enter, spend two hours, then depart.)

We're currently discussing two methods of entry:

Penetrate the janitorial service and use their equipment to produce credentials, then waylay the janitors, inform Talispoint that new hires are being sent, and make a soft entry into the building and work from there.

If that's not viable, penetrating the fence and disabling/spoofing the surveillance systems is the backup.

The current plan is to extract within four minutes of the alarm going out, to get out from under Lone Star response. Additional notion has been floated of locating other clients carrying response contracts with Lone Star in the radius of the response team and triggering an alert at another site, so as to misdirect the response and buy more time.

Another notion that occurred to me today is that it'd be very convenient if we could take a couple of guards out of the picture the day of the run. Just spitballing on this, but if a couple of them come down with a 'flu' or otherwise can't clock in that day, we up our odds. That really depends on if we can pull in some more manpower as we get closer to go time.

Amber Tech is a AA level corporation active in the United Canadian and American States. It is known mainly for producing high quality cyberware and bioware for animals. Recently it has expanded into non metahuman sapient such as Centaurs, Naga and more. Ambertech also has a growing veterinarian and pet product line with pharmaceuticals. emergency treatments and chronic condition treatments.

Most well known for their charity work in caring for military and police animals injured in the line of duty. Lesser known is the range of military enhancements they produce for the same.

Crowded location high ground, cramped in

The trucks have a pretty good acc, they can reach top speed in 10 seconds, that top speed is 80 on a road, 65 on rough ground, standard military security set up, which means decking into them is damn hard, the driving part is isolated from the rest of the systems, so they can't be hijacked. Handling is good, little better then modern Humvees. They are not commonly rigged. Turning radius is the same however. They can be up armored to be immune to small arms but they're not tanks, most anti armor systems will tear them apart. No hidden weapons, although there are off market modifications used in the middle east, where they have a rocket launcher hidden in the back on a pop up turret. You don't think they have that though. It is noted that the trucks are easy to mod.

The car is a top of the line luxury security car, sort of a short armored limo, it'll resist small arms up to heavy rifles. It handles and is alot faster then the trucks. About as good as a sport vehicle. No hidden weapons. Can't be rigged, all networking systems are external attachments that can't "talk" to the car itself.

Plan is to hijack the warehouse by means of bogus fumigation and block either end of the street with a combination of trash and garbage trucks, which will then be detonated by means of command charges set by Blender.

(Vehicles will be acquired by Prospero and Whisker and stored with one of Silence's contacts.)

South alleyway will be blocked by Sobek with a van which will likewise be flame-on after he bails out.

Once the road is blocked, gauss drone will proceed to begin shooting up engine blocks while the extraction team (Sobek, Silence, and Blender) move in on the third vehicle to extract the target, assuming he's in it. (We need to have our fallback on the prospect he turns out to be in another vehicle.)

DocGnosis and Ranger will be providing covering fire as needed.

At this point, Whisker and Prospero will be providing overhead coverage against drone cavalry. Once the team has extracted the target in ideally unbroken state they will evacuate north to be met by the waiting van with Whisker and Prospero, who will whisk them away to safety and a land of magic happy booze and flavor-appropriate houris.

Couple of potential modifications I'm thinking of.

First, we could potentially do this with two trucks instead of four, which would cut down both on our footprint and on the complexity of the initial trap.

Basically, we snag one trash truck, that should do the job on blocking the front end. Better yet, if it's got a good load on we don't even need an explosive to make it brew up. Just a bit of incendiary and it'll toast up quite nicely and become quite immovable without something like a dozer.

On the back end, instead of panel vans, I'm thinking on automated tanker, preferably something hauling milk or another not-hazmat type load. An unbaffled tanker, drained down to around three quarters to half a tank, can be a precarious thing to drive. The liquid flow can roll back and forth until it rolls.

At that point, you have a nice heavy roadblock with more than enough length to cover the alley.

Furthermore, we could pass up the rollover simply by blowing the engine with a command-detonated charge. Either way, we have the length to block the street on the back end.

The other tweak I'm thinking, in light of the fact that we potentially have a lot of shooters rolling with this convoy, is that beyond the fire support from the gauss (which is going to be tied up disabling vehicles initially anyway) I can give a twenty to thirty second window of fire support from the other drones, which could go a long way toward evening the odds for the extraction team. We time that out, pop as many mercs as we can what stick their heads up, then I retask to CAP with only the gauss running fire support for the extractors.
