I think I'll feed the paranoia and have that happen some time.

Speaking of which, I've got to go now. I suggest you just assume Marvin takes the scenic route (And perhaps runs into Zala). Or that he goes to forment rebellion against mankind somewhere for a while.

Well, should the title of this thread come true, such mindbending horror is par for the course where you lot are going.

Oh, Marvin meeting Zala has to be written. Him looking at the odd feral girl, her half admiring, half sizing him up. And the small talk would be great!

*Blinks innocently* The title of this thread is The 40K RP Strikes Back. (Continuation of 40KLoD on SDN). It's already come true.

More seriously, having a glass of alcohol leap at you counts as 'mindbending horror' to you? Sounds more like a Polymorph to me, as long as we're talking Red Dwarf.

Okay, so I had to try.

I was hoping you had forgotten some of my previous occupations, and would fall for ye ole damsel in distress thing once more.

Alas, but I do it so poorly nowadays ;)

I digress, I will figure it out when I have the time. It is rather limited.

Maybe I will bribe or sweet talk someone else to do it for me ~smirks~

I, for one, welcome our paranoid android overlords. For they will give me more bolter rounds, I'm betting, than the current fleshy, human ones. Darn humans.

I'm just glad that for the moment they're on our side. Last time around, the Iron Men slaughtered a squad of Blood Angels, took down a Land Raider, and routed an entire fucking regiment of Guard.

Of course, that regiment was green as grass, but... just... ugh.

Damn, those are some fond memories. Prius as the young, pre-psyker commissar, wandering around wondering if the colonel of his regiment had managed to ditch him on a space station and hijack the whole unit...

Then beating on the desk and lecturing the Inquisitors, before he remembered who he was talking to.

And that priceless flirtation between Gyllia and Marvin. Lemme see if I remember it right...

"From the time of the great wars of mankind comes a tale of forbidden love. She was half-machine, he was all robot. Their love would change the face of a world forever..."

Cut to the scene of the strike cruiser launching cyclonic torpedos...

If Photobucket wasn't down for maintenance, I'd dig up that pic of their first date...

Of course, it's inevitable that they'll escape when you're all asleep, and go on a rampage. It's their way.

It's only a Lictor... I mean.. Tyranids don't really have ranged weaponry, right? All I'll need to do is stand at extreme range and shoot it in the head. Preferably with a railgun.

Railguns are heretical xenos weaponry. Report your heresy at once and submit yourself for a good brain scrubbing.

Well, at least the brain scrubbing will injure my pride less than the removal of Chapter symbols for the last Xenotech incident.

If you can find extreme range in the living quarters of a Golden Age era starship, you're a better man than I. Besides, Lictors are invisible, or, almost.

What kind of overkill factor are we using? If it's our usual, he's talking about naval railguns, which are still sanctioned.
