Well it's a chaos star, which as I understand it was originally coined by Michael Moorcock (although some sources suggest that it may be even older than that) as a symbol of Chaos (described in one source as 'infinite possiblity', although this seems to be an overly simplified explanation). According to my sources, it was later adopted by practitioners of Chaos Majick and what is refered to as the 'Cyberpunk set' which the same source seems to view as more or less the same thing.

In addition, I have adopted it as a personal totem for a number of fairly complex philosophical reasons which are not necessarily derived from any of the above concepts, on the basis that everyone else is doing it, so why shouldn't I.

Edited to correct typos/dodgy grammar.

On the other hand, I must say that the symbol of chaos fits you quite well.

@Batman: I gave Lindar several metric tons of sugar (dropped from an Al'kesh bomber, no less), but I think it was Matt Huang that gave her a fuckton of it. Not sure, though.
