#1 What song do you HATE most?

Post by Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman »

Well, the song I really hate most is God is a Girl by Groove Coverage. There are two versions, though; the 'ballad' version and the 'happy-breakbeat-whatever' mix. While the slow version is more, ugh, bearable, the happy breakbeat version just drives me insane. In both cases, the vocal is really really horrible beyond description. O, the horror!!

And the worst of it, my flat neighbor really loves it and plays the song over and over again for the whole day. AAARGGHHH!!!

Now I feel a sudden urge to go postal.

So be it. If saying "NO" means being alone, then to hell with love, with romance, with marriage, and all the shit life keeps pumping at me. I'll walk alone, but with freedom and a healed pride.

It was surprisingly popular in Britain for a time... and caused me no limit of headaches.

Ah yes, found the lyrics, be warned for your sanity however:

(Chorus)
A pizza hut a pizza hut
Kentucky fried chicken and a pizza hut
A pizza hut a pizza hut
Kentucky fried chicken and a pizza hut
McDonalds McDonalds
Kentucky fried chicken and a pizza hut
McDonalds McDonalds
Kentucky fried chicken and a pizza hut

You like it you love it
You know you really want it
The voices I hear
Whenever you're around

I want it I need it
Nothing else can beat it
Hot and spicy
Whenever I'm in town (mm mm)

Enticing exciting
Aroma so inviting
And when it hits
Me, I wanna take you home

Trust me you must see
Just what you're doing to me
Driving me crazy
Hungry to the bone

I think of you and lick my lips
You've got the taste I can't resist
Can't resist - can't resist
Let's eat to the beat

(Repeat Chorus)

Would you like that to go?

Any sauces?

You're so sweet and you're neat
You knock me off my two feet
You're chunky and hunky
I'm coming back for more (Hot Dog)

Your taste all embraces
I gotta sing your praises
Just savour the flavours
Waiting at your door

I think of you and lick my lips
You've got the taste I can't resist
Can't resist - can't resist
Let's eat to the beat

(Repeat Chorus)

Does anyone fancy a shake?
Shake
Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Shake it to the left - Shake it to the right - Let's shake
Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

I think of you and lick my lips
You've got the taste I can't resist
Can't resist - can't resist
Let's eat to the beat

(Repeat Chorus)

*stomps stupid band's testicles*

Ah yes, how could I forget... *shudders thinking about it* That person who made it deserves to be shot. Or to have his testicles stomped.

I hate the Tiger Rag. It's a football fight song played by pretty much any team that has a tiger as its mascot. It's annoying, repetitious, and 99% of the time sounds like shit. Plus I had to play it seemingly nonstop for my five years of pre-college marching band.

I remember that fast food song. Some idiot in fifth grade sang that all the time. What made it worse is that the teachers thought he was rather cute and clever for singing it.

Hey I like "God Is A Girl"

Worst song? Uh, I don't listen to much that I don't like (no TV, it's easy to avoid bad music without one) but most any rap qualifies as 'not worth the electricity for the headphones--say nothing for the speakers.' There was this one horrible music video, but it was almost certainly a parody, so I'll default to the frog thing.

Oh, and do not mock the never ending song!

Indeed, along with that bloody "Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock" thing from Gwen Stafani. At least there ARE a few decent songs out there... somewhere... I think... *checks* Nope, just my own wishful thinking.

Silence Heathen...

Ye shalt be burn-ed at the stake for having a conflicting interest to the rest of us, and ye shall burn forever in purgatory [/10th Century Fundie]

Rationality Mode:

I dislike it myself because of the sheer lack of sanity which Cthulhu-worshippers seem to ascribe to but never quite reach. Although, lady lumps takes second-seat in my opinion to: "I just caaaaalllleeeed to say I love you... I just caaaaallleed to say I care." Don't get me wrong, Stevie Wonder is a good artist, it's just a head-scratcher how his worst song happens to be his most well-liked...

Meh, I'm used to self directed firepower.

The music video sucks, I can give you that, but I find the song itself catchy. *Hums tune*

If I had a nickle for every time I heard that, I would be a rich woman.

Well, I wouldn't want to have your neighbours then.

you sure that is not universal?

Here in the states, at the bars and parties I have attended, I get a lot of "I am German so I can hold my liquor" "I am Irish, so I can hold my liquor" "I am a lush so I can hold my liquor"

~grins~ I think you just like an excuse to celebrate ;)

Not that that is a bad thing.

Anything but Tom Sawyer by Rush

Anything but BYOB by System of the Down

Most of Led Zepplin

Specific Songs:

"Come on Eileen"

Yeah, I know, they are all popular, so I am quite prepared for flames.

Someone who hates popular crap as much as I do... w00t!

Anything which has been overly popular just so happens to be overly crap at the same time. Strange, isn't it.
