Well maybe Allen want to torture us in a more subtle way... Probably giving everyone a nightmare eveytime they sleep? Like having a dream of being visited by Nyarlathotep... I mean, by some mysterious dark person?

Or maybe the Archmagus is going to torture Ra by making Brizual falling in love with Darth Kreshna... alright, alright!!

The vortex thing put the voice of an Ancient guardian ghost in my dude's head. They are talking telepathically about some old secrets during the fight.

Well, because Dartzap is back, I tried to sum up the story so far, mainly to keep everyone up on continuity:

After interrogating Khardem , the leaders of the alliance (us) went to an unknown planet pointed out by Khardem. They then rode a new Aurora ship, which is like the Whitestar in B5.

Then they arrived on a village. The villagers are afraid of "something in the forest" (like Lovecraftian Old Ones) and a mysterious cult. But the leader's daughter were kidnapped by the cultists. Naturally, the leaders of the alliance went into the forest and rescued her.

Alas, after the rescue, the alliance leaders (Ra, Galadriel, Lord Adam, Darth Kreshna, etc) find themselves "out of phase"; for example, they saw a "ghost" of a villager, but it turned out that actually it was the party who became ghosts themselves! (think Alice in wonderland, but without "tangible" border between dimension) Also, while the Aurora is still orbiting the planet, the crew completely lost contact with the party.

While they were in the ghost state (actually they were shifted to another dimension, but still the forest), the Archmagus terrorized them with a myseterious army of Drider and a Dragon. The Driders are very though, and killing them actually hurting Darth Kreshna's brain, because The Phoenix is sensitive to their physcic dying scream. So they fled to an underground cave.

In the cave, they found a friendly Drow village. It turned out that the Drows are completely oblivious to the fact that they are living in another dimension! In fact, they are unaware that there is actually a world out there.

Nevertheless, Ra and Galadriel decided to investigate an "ancient horror" (after being talked by a Drow High-Priest). Darth Kreshna was left behind to heal himself.

While sleeping, Darth Kreshna got a dream from the Archmagus that the "ancient horror" is his own failed creation, and the Archmagus warned DK that the "ancient horror" should NOT be awaken (Ia! Cthulhu Fhtagn!!). Realizing he was left behind, Darth Kreshna and his remaining Stormtroopers decide to mount an expedition to stop Ra and party from awakening Those Who Should Not Be Awaken. Darth Kreshna and his Stormtroopers are riding horses like Medieval Knights, by the way. They're also holding lance besides their blasters. Y'know, just like Knights.

Meanwhile, Ra and party are still investigating the "ancient horror" (Those Who Should Not Be Awaken). While Ra and Galadriel is thinking about which way to take, Lord Adam is getting a telephatic call from an unknown creature named Tim (just like in Michael Crichton "Sphere").

Well, while the Trolls hasn't been mentioned since they interrogated Khardem, it does NOT mean that the Trolls are not with them. So if Dart come up with the Trolls in the middle of Ra's adventure, I don't think it ruins continuity, because the Trolls could be with the party from the very start, OFF SCREEN. Probably Commander Flotsam?

Happy STGODing!

So...

*pokes head in door and looks around*

Do you mind if a Mystic Theurge (lvl 5 Wizard, lvl 5 Cleric, lvl 5 Archmage, lvl 5 Heirophant, lvl 10 Mystic Theurge) joins the party?

I've talked my way through the plot with KAN... and I'm also wondering if it's okay that I took temporary control over the Lovecraftian Beasties while DS is busy.

The ship is the AV Aurora, not USS!

AV, as in "Alliance Vessel". This isn't the Federation!

STGOD Plot Reminder (Again)

Well I have made again a Dreamworld scene. Now we have Archmaguses and Dark Elves, I hope everyone still remember how the legend start: a first contact between the Guardians and the Witches of Dathomir some thousand years ago; a young Sith Apprentice being sent by his master Darth Plagueis to Dathomir to find the secret of immortality; a Guardian UFO crash-landed on Tatooine,; the forming of Project Majestic; the Cancer Smoking Man; and so forth.

EDIT: Alright, Jon, Adam, & Allen, where are you guys? We're still playing, ain't we? :???:

Post by Robert Walper »

I wrote this up some time ago in this thread, but just now extensively added to it for someone else's familiarization with my constant "Lord Walper" references. So, I'm adding it here for safe keeping. Hope no one minds.
Lord Walper Documentry wrote: Originally, Robert was an Sith apprentice of Petrosjko. But his arrogance overcame him, and he challenged Petrosjko's position as Master (as is the standard among Sith). They ended up fighting on a lava planet, where Petrosjko defeated Robert. Robert lost both legs and one arm here, was severely burned and left for dead.

Meanwhile, the Borg Collective was beginning it's objective of assimilating anything of interest. Although perhaps somewhat out of character, the Collective formed a couple of alliances, and in doing so decided they needed a "speaker" Borg to deal with said allies. They wanted an individual with a high midiclorian count to further their understanding of the Force and perhaps counter the other supernatural individuals/powers throughout the system. It went well for them for the first bit, but then Robert managed to mentally beat the Borg Queen who controls the Collective. However, he ended up in the Borg Queen's host body. His original assimilated body was just walking torso made possible by Borg technology. Walper didn't want to stick around in the Queen's body, so he had the Collective build it's most advanced drone model aka "One" seen from Voyager. Highly advanced, it's the strongest, fastest, most adaptable body the Borg can make. The body's organic aspect was cloned from Robert's original tissue, with the midiclorian levels artificially boosted to 60,000. Robert noted it could have been more, but it was all he needed. His goal was to make a body and mind capable of channelling the entire Force potential of the Collective. The Queen's brain (now hosting Robert's mind) was tranfered into the drone body. He then built two new lightsabers for his use and of course carries them around at all times.

Robert's powers became apparent when he crushed a single Borg cube into rubble as a test, apparently effortlessly.

His first practical application of his new Force power levels was during a large scale engagement with Destructionator's forces. He crushed multiple starships into useless hulks and tossed around many dozens of huge starships, smashing them into eachother and pulverizing a massive battleship by slamming multiple smaller starships into it. He succeeded in crushing the bow of Destructor's flagship. But at that point, the limits to "Lord Walper"'s powers became apparent. Dozens of nearby cubes had lost their entire crew complement, and others were severely handicapped in their fighting ability and losing ground. What looked like an invincible Force user had backfired. Lord Walper had access to the enormous Force potential of the Borg Collective, but large drains could easily kill hundreds of thousands of drones at once. Overdoing it could even cripple the entire Collective beyond repair. Hence, Walper's impressive Force powers rely upon the existence of the Collective. If it is lost, he's back to a mere "above average Jedi"(still has the 60,000 midiclorian count).

The next major battle was against a Dalek fleet that engaged a Borg fleet. They falsely believed they have inflicted heavy losses to a fleet of some 450 Borg cubes (150 cubes according to their assessment). But it turned out the lost cubes were mostly due to a montrous Force Storm Walper employed to destroy just over a thousand Dalek vessels. Again, the use of great power comes at a heavy cost.

Naturally, Robert had to get the Collective back into shape...it was being damaged more by his Force usage than the enemies he was fighting. Hence the Borg fleets retreated to Borg space, adopting a passive/aggressive stance while building up more ships and resources.

During the introduction of the Phoenix, Robert again drained the Collective's energies to challenge the Pheonix being's presence through a powerful telepathic message. Although Robert had learned from previous experience and put the entire Collective into a regenerate state to mimimize the drain.

An alternate dimension of "Middle Earth" appeared in Borg space, and Borg forces quickly found it. The result as Robert dispatched several ships, including himself, to check out the newly existing world. Beaming down a Borg drone to investigate the planet, it was quickly killed by several hungry Orcs. Lord Walper then beamed down himself (considering himself effectively immune to any assault) and killed the Orcs and getting a feel for the planet.

A massive battle was then played out, where thousands of Borg 'tactical' drones engaged a massive army, well over a million Orcs and assorted agents of Sauron's forces. Despite taking enormous losses to the tactical drones ranged weapons and superior attributes, the vast Sauron army killed the last drone, with the added help of Sauron himself.

At this point, Robert again beamed down the the planet, defeating Sauron one on one while keeping his army at bay. Walper demanded Sauron's capitulation, having realized the potential of the magical world to accomplish his goal of conquest of all enemies. Sauron agreed, but only to avoid utter destruction at the hands of the twisted Borg Sith Lord which he threatened. At first arrogant of his superiority over Sauron, Robert almost lost to a attack by the eye of Sauron. He quickly re-established dominance, but didn't intent to underestimate the Middle Earth leader again.

Very shortly after Middle Earth fell to the Borg Collective, a powerful being called Nitram came upon the planet, and decided to have it for himself. The result was a battle of wits and power between Lord Walper and Nitram. The battle's scale and intensity resulted in the slagged surface of the Middle Earth world at the hands of a hundred of Borg cubes, and was almost obliterated entirely by the Imperial Death Star, who were allies of the Borg leader at this time. The Death Star was temporarily taken over by the Nitram being, the Pheonix entity removed him from it. The titanic energies and destruction left on Middle Earth behind were pursued by the Nitram being.

The Borg forces on the other hand had evacuated most if not all of Sauron's forces and resources, and commenced terraforming a new Middle Earth for the use of Lord Sauron and Lord Walper. A fleet of Federation and Guardian ships, lead by Destructionator, assaulted the Borg fleet protecting the planet. During this time, a epic duel was engaged between Walper and Destructionator, with Walper ultimately winning the showdown. The arrival of the allied Imperial Death Star ended the space battle.

The Pheonix entity, it's host Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman having recovered from a coma induced by removing the Nitram being from the Death Star, returned to claim the massive battle station from it's ally, the Borg. The station was returned to the Imperial forces and the Pheonix entity.

It was at this time that, for seemingly unknown reasons, the entire Borg Collective including Lord Walper self destructed. Every drone, ship and Borg facility was destroyed, and even the newly terraformed Middle Earth was obliterated by a Borg Multikinetic Neutronic Mine that had been hidden in orbit. Rumor has it the original Borg leader, known to some as "The Queen", may have had a hand in the destruction of the Borg Collective and it's unique Sith leader.

I'll try and ficcify the Phoenix War saga as it currently is. It'll be a very big project, of course, but one that's worth a shot. I regret the fact that my own attempt to add a new, less space-oriented angle to the saga led to its demise. It was... fun.
