Was watching the movie Pitch Black earlier this week and a thought came to me.
If SG-1 found itself having to make the same distance on the same planet to a Stargate under the condaintions shown in the movie... Could they make it?

Depends, do they have to worry about a crazy criminal like Riddick?
Offhand, I'd say yes, half the trouble in the movie seemed to come from the fact that the survivors of the crash had no clear chain of command, and were not used to working together, if all that's left is SG-1 (and maybe Riddick), I'd say survivability goes up considerably.
Vala, of course, would still have to die. ;)
