Seven checked internal power supplys they were bouncing back nicely after those damn inhibiters had been taken off, he then followed obedently behind Mark 25.

The trip was short, the standard agent equipment was prepped by Mark 25 before he even got to the cells. Radio communication devices, badges, the usual agent gear. Additionally, the confiscated weapons were ready for Seven, though unloaded and with safties on. "Do either of you require food or drink?"

Seven put a clip of Teflon coated rounds into each of his guns then holstered them, “No I ate yesterdayâ€Â

Seven pealed back a flap of synthetic skin on his neck showing a small rubber port that an IV tube would connect to. "I sort of ingest a nutritional fluid similar to what is given to patients recovering from surgery, its mostly carbohydrates but contains some fatty acids necessary to repair brain tissue. Also while I’m putting said fluids in I use a separate system to remove nitrogenous waste, but all that aside like I said it is not necessary at this time."

Seven ran his hand through his fake hair, well it was fake compared to a natural human but it was real to him he figured that was what mattered. “I was actually born with spina bifida you see, my body never developed right. My only remaining organic parts are my brain, my spine up to the C5 vertebra, and a portion of my olfactory complex.â€Â

"Understood." Mark 25 turned away and started leading the pair back towards the dining area to meet back up with Blackheart. Below layers of programming and pain, something screamed. Outside, the metal was as cool as it always was.

Seven followed in an almost awkward silence, talking with other cyborgs about how much of them was still "human" or organic or whichever word was used was allways a tough subject and often lead to one or both parties finding some deeper wound.

Niner adjusted the vest he had grabbed from the equipmetn room. He didn't wear clothes, so he had grabbed the vest to have room to carry all the gear. He put the badge on the vest and then pulled a velcro cover down over the badge. The radio was on the right side of the front of the vest. Niner followed the cyborgs. For a moment he thought he heard screaming coming from the tall cyborg, but brushed it off.

Blackheart had just polished off the meal that his altered metabolism required when he got the news. "Fuck," was his less than elequent comment.
The team could really use a teleporter. He clicked on his earpiece. "Get everyone on the team and those that have agreed to play nice and scramble. Location in coming. Crash priority override on all forms of transport." Which meant there should be helos warmed up and ready for them by the time the elevators reached the roof.

They were probably going to arrive too late, but they had to try. Two senators in one week was a disaster. He was already sprinting for a window. Maybe he could arrive in enough time to slow the enemy until the team arrived. Maybe.

"Relay me the location, I'll take enroute. I won't bother with the Helicoptors, they'll just slow me down."

Saibot was running through the Containment floor, he hadn't left since he delivered the prisoner hours ago. He was a blurr of motion down the hall, channeling some of the power from his ring in increase his ground speed. He was literally a black and blue blur. When he finally reached the ground floor, the spacious lobby afforded him another, faster option.

He took to the air, the blue energy field glowing around him as a energy hand flew from his ring, to push the door open. Faster than a man could run, even he could run, he was out the door, and into the air, only seconds behind Blackheart.

'This promises to be fun.....' he thought to himself as he pulled alongside of Blackheart. "Lead the way Hero. We don't have time to lose."

Legacies got on the communicator. "Mirage Team we have orders to move out now, helicopters are ready on the roof, get to them. Location in coming. We have trouble people." He shut off the communicator as it sunk back under his suit and jumped out the window, creating a tendril he shut it onto the roof and used momentum to swing himself up onto the roof just as the helicopters were warming up.

Seven, Mark 25 and Niner were still walking towards the dining area when the call came in over their radios, “Hey shouldn’t we head for the roof?â€Â

Avatar bolted for the roof, climbing up the stair shaft rather than wait for a god damn elevator in a government building. It was faster that way. He didnt bother with the chopper, he simply leapt from the window. And caused a gust of wind to hit him like a giant tennis racket as the coordinates were relayed to him. And Anti-meta rally? Oh joy. One of two things were going to happen. He would win over hearts and minds, or their reaction to him would be like a twisted combination between the reactions of japanese people to Godzilla, and brittish villagers to the wolf man. Probably the latter

Mark 25 led the group to the nearest set of stairs, the loud pounding of metal on stone reverberated up the concrete shaft as he took the steps three at a time. Along the way, other staff, the office workers, the investigators, all the normals that were using the stairs hugged the wall as they saw the three massive, inhuman forms racing up each flight. The news reports only said so much, the clear display of force that was about to bear down on the situation was driven home by this sight.

The news reports only said so much, the clear display of force that was about to bear down on the situation was driven home by this sight.

When the group finally reached the roof the chopper was warmed up and about ready to depart, the three of them jumped into the air craft as seven asked “What is the plan of approach, and how many targets are we dealing with?â€Â

Legacies sat with the others in the helicopter, watching them. They were being led to a slaughter if they weren't careful. "Coordinates are coming in now, speed is of the essence so we're going right there. As for targets, it's sounding like three, maybe more."

Niner climbed into the chopper, sitting with his back to the pilots and right next to the door, ready to jump out at a moments notice. He listened to Legacies talk.

Avatar hit himself with yet another collum of air, sending himself up and foreward. He was almost there.

Dynamo let loose with another blast of lightning, blasting a chunk out of the concrete wall that Gravitas had formed to protect the civilians.

Behind Dynamo a single figure flashed into view, followed by three more. Two females, one caucasian with firery red head who glowed with a flaming aura, the other with jet black hair with asian heritage. The other two were males, both caucasian though one had black hair the other had brown.

The redheaded female, Ember, let her aura expand as the temperature around her rose. Close by a pair of trees erupted in flames. The grass caught next, the fire spreading quickly out of control as it consumed any flamable object in its path.

The man with black hair, Doppleganger, shimmered then multiplied, copies of his body forming from nothing. Behind him, the asian female Argent unleashed unseen fists that began to hammer away at the concrete barrier. As chunks of the barrier fell away they were lifted and thrown at Gravitas, intent on striking him down.
