#1 Rogue's, Tevar's, Nitram's, and Tortoise's D&D Campaign
So you poor pittle fools have asked me to be your DM. I accept on the following conditions:
1) I need your character sheet equivalents.
2) I need to know the basic backstory, which I understand goes FUBAR at some point so I can manage continuity.
3) Give and take and info flow from everyone.

Well, I don't recall asking you. But sure, sounds like fun. Gives me a motive to finish up Gaheris' second incarnation within the foreseeable future, at any rate.
I'll get you the backstory here shortly, probably by tomorrow. We've pretty much agreed on where to cut off the original timeline, I think (namely where Dahak burned the Purple Lady Festhall to the ground with a very badly placed fireball), so it shouldn't be a problem there.
Gaheris.

A question from her Ladyship.
How long after the situation of the last game are we picking up? Mostly because she'd prefer to not be a little kid in mindset.

That's why I want background from you four on what happened, where exactly you left off and what was FUBAR. Simple summaries will do. That way I can make consult with you and make informed decisions.SirNitram wrote:A question from her Ladyship.

To be brief, the FUBARed part happened after Tycho got bored and started doing random shit to amuse himself, culminating in giving us six levels of XP all in one go when we were 16th level. I'll write up a summary and try to get it to you later today or tomorrow morning.

Personally, I'd like to say 'we won that battle, we seperated for a few years, but we're getting back together'. That way Torma could have grown from Very Young to Young (she lacked only 1-2 yrs at the time) and possibly picked up a couple starting levels of a class other than 'Dragon'.

Lord Gaheris "Save Monkey" Trollbane. Still need to finish putting in Percival's stats and some of his mundane gear. The sheet not having a familiar/animal companion stat block is annoying. (I've been spoiled on custom character sheets that my group uses that has that and a whole bunch of other stuff.)

Sorry for the delay on the summary. I'm working on it now; not having Internet access on the computer I'm actually writing it on is something of a difficulty.

I'm reading the game threads to summarize events, and it's painful. It looks like we're only going to get through five days game time before we start cutting off stupid shit, too. The campaign started on Shieldmeet and the Purple Lady Festhall was burned on Flamerule 5...

Okay, here’s a general timeline and summary of the actions of the party after arriving in Westgate, starting on Shieldmeet, 1372.
Shieldmeet: Gaheris goes to the Abbey of the Blinding Truth early in the morning and offers his services to Grigor Khazar. The rest of the party went to the Arena of the Quivering Thumb, to bust up the last day of the gladiatorial tournament that afternoon. Gaheris joined them soon after they made their move. The party may or may not have rescued several slaves (Tycho was never very clear on that point), and was forced to retreat upon the arrival of the city guard on top of several elder fire elementals, but not without taking a prisoner from among the mages who appeared to drive them off. Malkamar and Tormantineth are not present at the arena, and arrive that night. The prisoner, a female wizard, is interrogated after nightfall. She reveals nothing other than her firm belief that she will be recaptured and killed for her failure. She attempts to provoke her interrogators into killing her. After disarming the traps on her spellbook, Astinius finds a note inside that simply reads “Purple Lady Festhall, 5th of Flamerule.â€

In all honesty, it probably would be easier to do that. The attraction here is the characters and the general plot idea, not the storyline as botched by Tycho.LadyTevar wrote:Pity we can't just drop the whole thing and start overRogue 9 wrote:I'm reading the game threads to summarize events, and it's painful.
