The skeleton warriors despite being dead had been kept on guard for such an event six of them advanced on the lead wolf weapons and shields drawn in a surprisingly quick and coordinated attack the remaining four skeleton warriors drew bows and began targeting the riders. The undead mages having neither tongues nor voices spoke words of silent power as they stepped forward, to those who could hear the undead whispers chants of “In Grav Frioâ€

Leandra grimaced as she followed the path Thog made as he crashed his way thru the underbrush. "If he tries to throw you in jail, after this, I'll have his badge," Leandra bluntly replied. "We're on our way, Thog's in the lead."Rukia wrote:She stopped and saw that someone was posed to kill someone. She sprinted to him and knocked him out of the way, catching the end of the sword with her shoulder. She rolled on the ground away from the knight. and looked at her wound.
"Le it's getting bad. I just saved the knight that was trying to arrest me. I caught a blade in the shoulder."

OOC Note: Some people need to slow down just a tad...give others a chance to post! In the time it took me to make my last post...4 people posted again, almost requiring a edit. give people a chance to respond if you please. I know everyone is excited, but we can't rush things along to fast, or everyone will get burned out.
------------------
The blade cleaved air, then struck a dark elf in the shoulder. The Rider didn't care, as the blade easily cleaved flesh and struck the bone, lances of cold exploding from the wound into her body. The blade would have continued on, if he had let it, and for now, the woman would get away with a easily healed wound.
In the grove, chaos was erupting, skeleton warriors and magi had begun an assult on the worgs, yet the blade spirits where already striking the magi, the bones shattering to splinters as the whirling tornado of blades chopped them into bits.
The worgs, on the other hand, where in heaven, upon seeing the skeletons. Massive paws and powerful jaws snappped as they leaped at the skeletons. Suddenly missing arms, legs, or even heads, the skeleton's collapsed into piles of bones. No matter how fast the skeletons moved, the wolves seemed to be quicker.
Suddenly one of the wolves disappeared, leaping away fom the clearing, a small trail of black smoke dispersing into the air after it. The sword weilding rider disappeared, seeming to simply fade away. the other two wolves dodged the lightingbolts as best they could. As the warrior wielder reappeared next to the mage, he simply pointed. In the distance, they bould both sense the power which generated the storms.
Cloaked by his magics, the Sorcerer faced the Warlock and the Druid, his chilling voice unleashing what was perhaps the one spell all dread hearing, composed of two words, it rarely missed a target, and almost never failed at it's task, causing death.
"Corp Por".
Two bolts of crackling energy flew from the Sorcerer's gnarled pudgy fingers, cutting through trees in it's path as they speed on towards thier targets.
----------
"Of course, I am sorry Ottomon...of course you should behere to help arrange defenses incase of attack..."
The baron moved back to his throne, collapsing in it, a look of worry on his face. Things were neve as good as he desired, he had worked his way into this position over years of time, yet, he longed for the day when he was free to run through the woods, adventuring much like the younger generation still did.
From the shadows cast by the sun through the stained glass windows, the dark robed being appeared. Holding two wickedly curved sabers, dripping a black ichor which sizzled as drops touched the stone, he began to advance, silently.
A mission to accomplish.

Decimus ran and lept upon his horse. He kicked its sides and took off. He cleared the forest and rode hard to the keep. He pulled out a contact stone to the watch officer.
"ALERT! Hostiles in the forest. Warn the Baron and Lord Ottoman."

His Death Ward spell should protect him from the worst of it's effects, however he didnt want to risk it, this guy was a hell of a lot more powerful than he. He dove to the side, hoping the spell was not tracking. And targeted the next lighting bolt down on his sorcery wielding opponent.
He landed, rolled, and swpt a few acorns into his hands. He whispered a word over them and as he got to his feet, tossed them at the black robed sorcerer. If they hit their mark, each one would explode.

Ottoman turned to face the new creature that was in the room. Evil knew evil, and Ottoman wished he had his sword on him.
Ottoman muttered a quick prayer to his gods and suddenly the room dissappeared in a cloud of darkness. Ottoman lowered himself to the ground and stepped to the side, getting himself out of the way between the Baron and the dark warrior, he began muttering another prayer and preparing his next spell. Now all he needed was to touch the warrior.

Thog ran at one of the worgs.. He thought of them as wolves, of course. Just big, scary ones, that might hurt people.. And grasped his hammer with both hands, swinging it hard. The movement began a long string of attacks, with a fluidity that suggested all the brainpower most people put towards language comprehension, social dynamics, and proper hygiene was there, but saved up for becoming a mobile force of destruction.
In any case, it was a bad day to be an attacker.

Back at the Keep, soldiers who had been lounging around or chatting, leapt to their feet and grabbed their weapons as the alert bell started ringing.
A squad of militia men took off running for the Barons chambers.

Vadlenar frowned as his army was decimated in seconds. This didn't make sense the creatures were moving much too quickly and the spells they were using were so hideously overpowered it was equivalent to the half giant Thog was fighting an army of porcelain unicorns. Sadly he was not nearly as nimble as his druid companion, as the spell raced towards him he attempted to retaliate by casting an Iron Maiden at the sorcerer. He finished his cast milliseconds before the bolt of death hit him, it hurt like hell and even though his various magic guards reduced the amount of incoming damage it killed him.

Ted, shook his head and ran a hand through is hair, he was glad he always remembered to keep a soulstone with him, he would revive in a moment and then perhaps he could beat a hasty retreat. He thought back for a moment on days long passed before holographic displays were common when he used to sit on his dad’s lap and watch him play MMORPGS, back then every game had a HUD. Right now Ted really wished this game had the ability to appraise someone’s level before you were dumb enough to attack them.

At last, Leeandra arrived, her blue eyes taking in the scene immediately. First things first: The poison Elemental had to go. Raising her arms she started singing a chant to the Goddess. "Mother Inanna, remove this blight back to whence it came! In the name of the Mother Goddess, elemental, Be GONE!"
Leah herself shuddered.. the last time she'd seen such carnage was when an unlucky adventuring party had gotten a dragon so agro on them it had followed them out of its cave and into a group of 10th level players.

Sivri groaned. She was still ill from the smell, and now she was losing blood. She shivered. The poison lifted and she knew that Leandra was around. "Le, I'm over here. Ow...." She pressed her hand even harder on the wound, trying to stop the blood flow. She had noticed that the knight had left, with out so much as a thanks, bye, kiss my arse, nothin. He owed her big for this.

The Sorcerer buckled as the Warlock got off the curse, and the Iron Maiden made him feel the pain the Warlock must have felt just moments before. The Warrior looked down to the weakened spelltosser, then towards the clearing, where one of the massive wolves was being taken apart by the half-giant.
With the Warlock dead, the rest of the skeleton's literally fell apart, the motivating magicks dispersed. The Warlock would spend alot of time upon resurrection rebuilding his army.
As the red headed cleric rushed into the scene, the poison elemental was dismissed by her prayer. Beneath the cowl, eyes narrowed. He could deal with her, after the half-giant was finished.
The Warrior stepped back into the clearing, hefting the massive sword before him, almost as if in a gesture of respect to the warrior, as the wolf flew backwards with the last hit.
A low hiss issued from beneath the cowl, as the clawed metal hands glinted, a lighting bolt just narrowly missed him.
Meanwhile, the Sorcerer had thrown up a hasty Force Field spell, the acorns bouncing harmlessly off before exploding. The gutteral voice growled, as he decided to end this Druid's meddling.
"An Por" he intoned, the Magic Lock spell would shut down the Druid's ability to cast spells, period. He would be easy prey there after.
------
Darkness flooded the room, but that didn't interfere with the Rider. The Paladin wisely got out of the way, but not before he got a dose of the Rider's power, a wave of fear sweeping over the Paladin and the Baron.
"What's happening?! Ottomon? Where are you? What in the..UGH"
The Baron's eyes were open wide, his mouth agape in pain.
The Rider's saber was buried in the Baron's stomach, lifting him into the air, as the darkness began to receed somehow. At the door, banging was heard, as the guards and militia tried to get in. Somehow, the door had locked.

The gesture of respect was not lost on Thog; he gruffly nodded but did not advance. Instead, he plunged a hand into his pocket and withdrew a chunk of rock, and hurled it at his foe. Another rock emerged to join it. The big oaf saw no reason to close ranks just yet, not when he could do some damage from far off. Besides, giants and rock-hurling was a tradition.

Matthew leaned forward in his chair. This wasn't good. He should get out of here. Then again, Ottoman would see this as a challenge of his will, and there was the fact that he'd just taken what Ottoman viewed as his by right.
Ottoman staggered under the effects of the fear. This was something amazing, there was a great power in this creature. Slowly Ottoman got to his feet again as the Baron was impaled and died. He felt the dark gods answer his prayers and attacked. Rushing the warrior while it still had the Baron impaled he grabbed it by the head and released the dark magics into the back of the creatures head. This blessing to a Dark Paladin caused brutal wounds to his enemies upon the slightest touch. Ottoman didn't take any chances though and quickly fell back, hoping to avoid any swings of those deadly blades.

Justin was sweating now as he told his brain to work the legs of his character to move him into the cover of underbrush. No. This cannot be happening, he thought to himself. Only three obscenely powerful mages could cast that broken spell. There was something WRONG here. Very very wrong. ANd it was not in the announcements on the game's website after the last major update. SPeaking of which, those Dark Wolves had never been seen before either.
...
He may not be able to cast spels, but his ability to remain hidden in natural environments would still function, that was skill not based upon magic. His Camo armor didnt hurt either.
He whispered into the comm stone
"I just got magic locked, only three mages posess that spell. We cannot win this, I would advise retreat" he said that while silently putting as much distance between him and that mage as possible. He lept over logs and rocks, and slid down into a ravine. All silently, and without leaving a so much as a stick disturbed.

No, Leandra was only just now there, looking over the battle field to see Thog take out a worg, to see the Sorcerer and Elwin fighting, and to see Vi leaning against a tree. "this isn't good..." "Mother of the Earth, rain your healing waters upon my companions!" she prayed, causing small rainclouds to appear over Sviri, Thog, El, the highelf, and herself. The glowing rain washed over wounds and closed them, bringing most back to full health.

She saw that the warlock was attacking El, or at least planning on it. SHe was goning to try to stop him then realized that it ws being taken care of, kinda.
Siv watched in shock as the half giant threw rocks. She yelled at him "Of all the things! ROCKS?!" But she took the oppertunity to use the invisble oil and run over to El, but he had gone. She dug in her bag and pulled out one of the potions she had planned on selling and threw it. She then ran to another spot and threw another potion, she'd find El later. She came up behind Leandra and touched her hand. "I need another potion."

Vadlenar’s Soulstone activated and his body twitched a second before being pulled to a standing he shrugged his shoulders. He was ready for round two his Iron Maiden spell was still on the sorcerer that would limit him a bit now for something a bit more bastardly. First he targeted a small pile of bodies lying next to the giant wolf farthest from his comrades; he focused his energies on the bodies one of them seemed to twitch for a fraction of a second before the pile violently exploded. Then as the wolf near it was confused and stunned he reached out and touched the mass of life around him, the forest was full of it a ripe crop ready for harvest. Vadlenar selected a specific life already beginning to diminish, the life of the giant wolf that had been nearly caught in the explosion he snatched at it drawing strength healing him.

Ottomon was quick, but the Rider was quicker.
The saber which wasn't impaling the groaning baron, swung around the back, glancing off of the dark Paladin's armor. Where the blade passed, the armor sizzled and steamed, as it melted from the black ichor.
The Rider didn't shout or scream in pain, but it did groan. Something was wrong with the groan though, it was almost as if it was a groan of pleasure, as if it enjoyed the pain.
"Fool...." the voice was low, silken smooth, and laced with evil intents, as it seemed to take in the magical darkness, and diappear with it.
--------------
the half-giant threw rocks. Not even particularly large rocks. Those that flew at his head, he blocked with his sword, while the others clagged loudly off the armor beneath his cloak.
"Fight....me..." the voice was chillingly cold, yet so human sounding, possessing the hint of emotion. The Warrior began circling Thog, swinging his sword in a slow pattern, a intricate, but beautiful pattern, that was instantly recognizable. Very few people worked a sword in a defensive pattern like that.
Infact, both Thog and Leandra had partied with one person who used that pattern only a week before.
The Warrior seemed to move in a sudden blur, the only one who would hope to match the speed was the half giant lugging rocks, the sword dragged the ground, kicking up a trail of dust, before an afterimage blurred, and he appeared at Thog's side, a fist coming in for the half-giant's groin.
-----------
The Sorcerer remained silent, the Druid had fled, they would have ten minutes before the spell wore off, and by then, the mission would be complete.
He set his eyes on the Cleric, she was attractive. Maybe they could focus on her next...after the plan was carried out.

The hail of projectiles ceased as Thog heard the voice. Great brows furrowed in confusion, but stopped as the man rushed forward. The groin shot was deflected into his leg as he turned to one side, picking up momentum for a horrific swing of the hammer. No, not this voice. This voice meant melee, out of respect.
Refreshed from the cleric's magic, the half-giant began to bash the attacker, grunting as hits landed on himself. Defense was not his strong point.

Decimus reached the gates of the Keep, his horse going full bore. He nudged his horse and it continued into the keep itself, heading for the Barons room.
He jumped off the horse when it reached the door that the militia where trying to break through.
"Come on, men, get through there!"
He heard a sound of pain and the clang of a sword on armor.

Leandra's eyes went wide at she recognized the swordwork. "... Darek?" she said, shocked. No... it couldn't be... could it? Thog waded into battle with him, both men exchanging blows at full strength.Dark Silver wrote:the half-giant threw rocks. Not even particularly large rocks. Vi spoke to her, bringing her attention back. "Potion? Oh.. here." she said, handing over an invisiblity oil and two healing potions. "Go find Elwin. he's in trouble," she told the dark elf ... and that left Leandra with the Sorcerer, who was staring at her in a way she did not like.
"Mother Goddess, let your holy light illuminate the darkness!" she prayed, summoning one of the more powerful spells in her arsenal, a beam of holy energy that she channeled down her arm and at the Sorcerer, surrounding herself by an aura that repulsed and punished evil.

Ottoman backed towards the door, damnit this was one of those rare times he wished he still had the ability to detect evil. Reaching the door Ottoman quickly turned and released the lock and pulled the doors open.
"An assassin, see to the Baron immediately! Healer!"
Ottoman stood aside as the men passed. He mentally noted which of them had a weapon he knew well so that he could use it should the warrior still be in here.

Decimus strode up to Ottoman.
"M'Lord, what happened?"

Ottoman was looking down examining the slash that the dagger had left on his armor when Decimus came up to him. He glanced up. He was one of the men he didn't have yet. Not that it mattered too much, his superior was one of his.
"I was discussing some matters with Baron Draven when a warrior appeared out of the shadows. I attempted to stop him," Ottoman looked to the deep, still steaming gash in his body armor. "The Baron was not so lucky as to be wearing armor."
