OK, As some of you know, FrigidMagi's hard drive commited suicide a few days ago. He got a new one, but gateway didnt give him restore disks because they are stupid commie bitches.

So he had to reinstall windows and now he cant get his internal wireless card to be recognized, even to the point that he can identify it in his device manager.

So the ice-mage needs your help.

here is the stuff that is not even recognized by windows
ethernet controller
mass storage container
multimedia audio controller
PCI modem
Video Controller
Video COntroler (VGA Compatable)

Anything else, such as basic windows set up and the like, ask. Hopefully I can answer by asking him....

Is this Windows XP or and old version like 98?
