Well, according to the book, the only reason Xavier DID lose the battle with the Pheonix, is because Jean has one thing he doesn't
Telekinesis.
He could matchher blow for blow on Psi-power, when only involving mind vs mind, een with her as a Omega Level (or Class Five), but because she had TK, she tore him apart while he was trying to battle her mind.

I'm pretty sure he just uses a normal wheelchair, occasionally he's used ones that used high-tech hoversystems and stuff. If he has the power to move himself and his chair around, he'd probably just move around through telekinesis.
In any case, I don't recall any specific instance of Xavier using TK.

Technically, a version of Xavier existed with TK and.. Um.. Worse. Onslaught. But that was a case of severe wank and should be purged. With fire.LadyTevar wrote:Xavier is a Telepath ONLY. He has never had telekinetics in any version of Xman.
Half-Damned, All Hero.

Me: Evil is so inappropriate. I'm ruthless.
Tev: You're turning me on.
I Am Rage. You Will Know My Fury.

Found this while reading web comics I think it speaks for it's self in expressing the artist's feelings on the movie.

Most cross-title world-threatening events should be purged with fire, as they are little more than marketing tools to boost sales of all titles.SirNitram wrote:Technically, a version of Xavier existed with TK and.. Xavier has never pushed his chair with telekentics, he's always used techonogly.
And all the fucking X-Men movies have been about Wolverine. It's time to fucking move on!

Although, in Fatal Attractions, he wore a psi-powered suit, which allowed him to walk about normally. Not telekinetic, but still, mind-powered.frigidmagi wrote:Xavier has never pushed his chair with telekentics, he's always used techonogly.

It was made using Shi'ar tech and just converted telepathic signals to nerve impluses. Wearing it also tied up a good bit of his power, which is why he had to link up with Jean Grey for that fight.

-puts away the E-Necronomicon and clears his throat-
After seeing X3 today, and having read the novelization.
I much preferred the novelization.
The battles, especially the end, were much better in the book, with Magneto using his powers to nullify Storm's ability (by screwing with the local magnetic field), Storm and Calisto have a mid-air fight and Storm kills Calisto in mid air with a knife instead of frying her...
oh, and the Pyro/Iceman fight was MUCH better in the book...that and Pyro was really fucking shit up in the book, forming a dome of flame over the entire island, keeping it going by pure willpower....
And I extremely dislike how the movie has Rogue taking the cure, where as the book had her deciding against it at the last minute.
Powerfully weak. this movie was.
