From the trees, the sounds of someone choking in laughter reached the group, as well as the sounds of brush and twigs snapping as they stumbled.

From the sound of the laughter, it was hard to distinguish what it was, male or female, just that it kept on for a few precious moments, then was gone.

Vadlenar halted his movement and made a quick hand gesture his skeletal warriors fanned out into the brush towards the source of the laughter they might not actually catch the target but it was worth a shot.

"Steel yourselves" Elwyn said. He stalked forward, shifting into his Moor Cat form so that he would be even better be able to stalk through the area unseen and unheard, and went to see what the sound was.

Ottoman had joined in the laughter, it stopped as he drew his blade and looked up to the trees. "Decimus, take Thog and go flush them out." Ottoman looked to Leandra "Get your spells ready, it appears the gods are not done with us yet."

Decimus nodded as he got his commands and jumped down from the cart. Drawing his sword and shield he motioned for Thog to follow him before he went into the brush and began poking and prodding the bushes as he kept an eye out for odd movement.

Decimus poked his sword into a bush. So far, nothing, but that didnt mean some beast was in here about to jump him.

Where Le had suceeded in not falling off her horse, Siv had failed. She toppled to the ground and was gasping for breath when everyone heard the laughter. She got silent and was on her feet instantly. She looked to Val who sent his army fanning out then to Ottoman. El changed onto a Moor cat and slinked off into the forest.

"What the hell is going on here?" She said breathlessly.

"Since we don't hear them laughing anymore, they may already be gone," Leandra pointed out. "If they followed us from the village, chances are they're working for the Baron. If not ... " Leandra frowned at this point. "... Somehow I doubt its the Dark Riders. I don't think they'd have a sense of humor. Either way, we got lucky."

From across the campsite, the bushes rustled again, visibly along with the sound. The bushes kept shaking and rustling for a few more moments, before a young girl walked out, her face red in embarresment.

She looked young, as if ages could be so easily discerned in Zion, dressed in tannish leather boots laced up to her knees, a green tunic and vest, along with tannish-white shorts. A bandana was wrapped around her forehead, and a ribbon tied on her right arm. She smiled and giggled again, as she looked the group still over. Her short black hair tossed about as she shook her head, and her slightly slanted, brown eyes held a grin of bemusement.

"Hi!" she said cheerfully, moving closer to them.

"Things going so wierd." Thog said, rubbing his head as he looked at.. Possibly.. Yuffie.

Albert was known to be an addict of old games. Virtual Consoles, Abandonware, and similar things made up most of his gaming besides Zion.

He was also how Leah knew Yuffie: He had introduced her to the classics of the Final Fantasy series.

Siv puffed up -Who the hell is this?- She tried not to snarl as looked the girl up and down. Twice. She squinted as Le made her comment. -Yuffie?- Sivri huffed and mounted Meeka again.

"I'm gonna go set up camp. Since everyone has seemed to have forgotten" She snapped. She didn't like this new-comer at all. She rode off into the forest.

The girl just blinked at them for a moment, a almost vacant look on her face. 'Oh shit...I thought Locke said these people would be dimwits who wouldn't recognize us' she thought, trying to come up with a hasty way to explain who she was.

"Oh, yeah, I'm a big fan of old games," she spoke up, grinning, "I remember playing this old CRPG and had this cute lil ninja girl, so I decided to look just like her. Think I got it right?"

Yuffie grinned as big as possible and did a spin around, as if modeling her look. 'Locke....I'm so going to kill you and Link for this....'

Blink. Blinkblinkblink. "Wow... you even have her victory twirl down perfectly..." Leandra commented, reminding herself to thank Albert later for getting her hooked on the old FinalFantasy games. "I was given copies of all the older games to play, as well as Monster Rancher, ShadowHearts, and even one of the first CGI movies 'Advent Children'."

Vadlenar shook his head, splitting up and going anywhere alone was down right foolish, "I will follow you m'lady" he said in a calm tone as he urged his mount forward followed on one side by his army.

Thog, confused and shrugging, followed Siv. Thog was good at setting camp and was just about incapable of being patronizing to people. "Thog help with camp." He declared, which meant he'd be knocking over a small tree and chopping it up for firewood.

Yuffie blinked at the Moor Cat who shifted into the man, but she was radient with the kind words from the cleric.

'That's it Yuffie, just make them eat out of your hand...remember Sheik's got your back...'

"What do you mean get past you? I've been over here. I heard all of you moving along the trail, so I decided to follow. The big blue guy made a silly comment, and well, I just lost it."

She beamed a smile at the ground, and stopped next to Leandra and the Druid. "So, wha's up?"

Vadlenar halted his Mount abruptly shocked at the outburst "Very well then," he replied calmly "I did not mean to insult your capabilities." Vadlenar backed off away from the group a little, off the road surrounded by his army once more, he had nothing to contribute to the discussion with the new individual and he did not wish to distress any more of his groupmates. "Things were so much more simple when it was just us eh guys?" he said softly to his hord of minions, there was naturally no responce. "Well guess your right it was just about the same..."

Decimus quietly circled around the girl, to cut her off if she tried to run right back behind her. He didn't know for sure who Yuffie was, but he had heard of the Final Fantasy series, his father and uncles had grown up with old school games. His dad even had an old antique X-Box, that still worked. He was more a fan of old war games, than old RPGs.

He looked over to Ottoman, looking for orders.
