"I only have the spell prepared the once. So after I do this, I will have to change your form using another spell later"

he muttered a few words over her and she transformed into a Beautiful elf woman, with clothes this time.

"I will be able to change your form into something different later in the day"

Torma looked down at herself with interest, running hands over her arms, now a shade of light gold. Her tunic looked of linen, a shade of red made to set off the golden skin over darker pants and matching boots. Lifting her hands to run over her face, feeling the points of her ears, she said delightedly. "You've made me an Elf!"

And indeed, she was the very vision of a young GoldElf maiden, with the only sign of her true self the coppery shade of her hair and green of her eyes. She twirled, experimenting with her balance, before pausing in front of Astinius with a huge smile. "Thank you!!!" was his only warning before he got hugged happily.

"ack!"!! was all Astinius could respond with. That and thinking that maybe draon hugs should be the trigger for his contingency

Torma giggled as she took Malkamar's hand. "Good sir, I would be most honored," she replied, complete with Waterdehavian upperclass accent, and allowed the shadovar to lead her out of the alley way.

Astinius really couldnt do much for a couple seconds but stand shell-shocked. He was getting better at least. In years past he would have either recoiled in terror or worse yet, used magical force to prevent contact.

Soon after, he managed to motivate himself to move, and quickened pace to catch up

Shaking his head in amusement, Gaheris left the alley and quickly moved to the front of the group. He would take a roundabout route to one of the Vara'Dome's nondescript safehouses, this one in the slums of the Shore. It wasn't much, and wasn't exactly pleasant, but to his knowledge it was safe.

Torma followed in Gaheris' wake, happily chatting to Malkamar, prying the details of where he'd been, what he'd been up to over the last couple of years. She had very little trouble adapting to walking on two legs, although there were a couple places Malkamar had to steady her on the uneven cobblestones.

Perhaps it was lucky she was chatting away like a brass... that way she wasn't playing copper dragon pranks.

They met in a in darkened room. "Why aren't you following them?" said the leader of those who waited.

"I was spotted. The attempted to capture me. I escaped."

"So they know they are being followed. It will be harder to take them."

"We obey. They will surface again, we will track them, and we will deliver them up to the Master."

Gaheris left the city wall again via the Shore Gate, descending the rough-hewn staircase separating the city proper from the slums of the Shore, wedged between the city wall and the waters of the Dragon Reach. Checking once to make sure that his companions were still close, he launched into a dizzying array of narrow alleys and knocked-in buildings, leading the group by a roundabout path to a dilapidated shack towards the center of the slum, indistinguishable from it's neighbors by those who did not know the subtle signs.

"This is it," he hissed. "Everyone get inside."

Torma slips inside, looking around at the ... well... accomodations is a strong word to use for this little place.

Gaheris ducked inside after Torma and carelessly flopped himself down in a chair that seemed barely to support his weight. "It's not much, but it has one advantage. The Abbey is watched constantly. This place isn't. We won't be staying in places like this all the time. Anyway, one of my men should be here soon to report."

[OOC: I hope you don't mind that last, CC. If you have the Book of Exalted Deeds, the one I had in mind is actually one of the sample NPCs in chapter one, but you can of course do what you want.]

"It will do nicely." Malkamar said firmly, slipping into it. "We just have to make sure no one can pick this spot out of the rest of the slums. I don't suppose we're blessed with anything to dampen the auras of our magic?"

And so for ten minutes Astinius waved his hands and spoke in incomprehensible words of power, and at the end of that time period, Private Sanctum was cast, it's effects not extending outside the house so as not to alert passers by with an impenetrable grey fog
