Much more personal storyline. I'm not seeing Petro having an effect on the overall story, this is between him and Walper. Now, that challenge may affect what's going on overall, but that's somewhat incidental.

Much of Patterson's very life-force was drained by the Phoenix when it attacked. However, she's presumed dead. Galadriel will try to save her after the battle ends. Whether or not she succeeds will be hidden for the time being.
Just clarifying that sucking away someone's life-force is a little different than sucking someone's soul away.

Actually, the quote is from Army of Darkness. Listen to it. It is awesome.
There are a few Duke Nukem quotes that pay homage to Army of Darkness. Things like "Hail to the king, baby" and a few more I can't think of right now are all in there.
AoD is a really great movie. If you haven't seen it, do so as soon as possible. It is pure gold.

Seriously though, while Galadriel and all will want to save Kreshna, Destructionator XIV doesn't care about that. He wants revenge after being tortured aboard the Death Star. He will kill Kreshna if given the chance, but also being an android he will listen to reason later (or Destructionator XIII if you still have him).
I didn't bring the Lady here simply because she is in another galaxy. I have made it a point ot keep intergalactic travel a relatively time consuming thing for the A'millians, and I don't want to piss on that continuity by bringing her here so quickly. The Destructionators, though, are already in the Milky Way and their ships have Asgard hyperdrives.
Alright, after my last post in the TGOD, Patterson will not appear again until the very end, when her fate, dead or alive, will be revealed. I haven't decided if she will really be dead, or come back to surprise the audience. Just a note so KAN doesn't use the character again.
However, the implications of her apparent loss will be very certain; the loss, which he still blames himself and still to an extent Galadriel for, will drive him into total Gul Dukat-ish insanity.
