Official Ruling on blast absorbing Saibot's attack:
Based on prior discussions with DS concerning his character and power, dating back to the initial creation of the character itself, I find that Saibot is, more or less, nothing more then a power ranger with a green lantern ring(and have described him as such on multiple occassions in which DS concured). Therefore, with a quick examination of the green lantern rings, history and power I'm ruling that DS's works in a similar fashion. Hard light, to be exact. While the ring may be arcane in nature, the effect isn't.
Therefore Blast will safely be able to absorb it. Though, as I told frigid over AIM, eventually Blast will overload from energy absorbtion like a battery. But if he keeps expelling the energy as well this shouldn't be an issue.

I'm very sorry but I'm gonna be gone until Thursday night at the earliest, Friday at the latest. I've given control of Legacies to B4 until I get back and told him what my plans were. I'm very sorry for having to leave for a few days but there's no way out of it that won't cause more trouble than it will be worth.

Do you know how many bats will dwell in a single decent sized roost? In an abandoned area of a major city? hell, ASU has a single colony of several hundred living in a hollow of one building
ANd yes, they will fly around during the daylight if I compel them to do so.
Besides, it isnt as if she cant teleport around

Thousands?
Yes Ben, I'm aware that bats roost in large numbers. The largets colony being approximately 1.5million of them in any one location. It's a tourist attraction. Now I grant you it would be entirely possible for that many bats to be there, I'm not an expert on them by any means.
But you do realize that bats are nocturnal creatures right? It's not just because they like the night. There are a few other issues to contend with as well...
So you've summoned thousands(2000+) bats to your command, waking them and forcing them to do your bidding? Forcing them to go against all natural order and instinct for them, to purposely hurt and endanger themselves further. And you're doing this to thousands of them?
Guess it's only reptiles that deserve your kindness...
But somehow, somehow, I doubt you have the capacity to do that. You managed to get a flock of pidgeons to hunt down the pokemon and that was fine. Bird and bat minds are relatively simplistic. But it also means that you'd have to keep compelling them to act against their nature and instinct or else they'd revert back to it. Pidgeons were day creatures already flying and feeding. It was no matter to them to do it. Bats, on the other hand, are night creatures who would hate being out in the day and not really want to do your bidding.
It aint happening Ben. You aint got the power to do that much.

You know DS, someone who wasn't as nice as me would point out that knowing more tricks didn't help you that much during the recent sparring match.

I will also point out that a bat does get overheated easily, and that their wings, being nothing but thin, bare skin, get sunburnt extremely quickly. So, while the sunlight doesn't destroy them, it does burn them, and it's another reason for being nocturnal.
Either way, Argent's really pissed at you. This is the second time you've used your powers and killed without thinking. Blackheart might have to step in.

This is the result of the GM having to get involved. People/things die and the players suffer in one way or another. Now, in retrospect, wouldn't it have been easier to simply go with a more reasonable number? Yes.
I hope we have all learned something here today. I have. Killing small helpless things and annoying my players in and out of characters brings me great joy. Thank you.

Out of characterL Yes, I fucked up
In character, and in real life: That should not have happened before Avatar could react to it, and thus, there is something wrong with the bats (and considering the fact that the only endangered bat species in the state should not even be roosting in the COUNTY we currenty occupy, there is definitely something wrong with the animals that explains that happenstance in game, in a way which is sane)
