Notice a continent wide phenomena on a high tech Inquisition Blackship with lots of psykers and every concievable instrument pointed at the point of origin? Surely you jest. Of course you notice.

Admit it, you just want to get things underway before CC punishes us for our undue procrastination even more.

CC: Any answers to the questions Halima's investigating with the cogitator?

(i.e. were there any signs of a psychic transmission to something off-planet, and is there anything specific about where the phenomenon started?)

Its not a transmition. Its a psychic occurence originating under the null shield. You can't analyze the disturbance directly (null shield again) but its creating enough of a disturbance in the warp that sensitives all over the continent (and some in orbit) are feeling it.

I'm very sorry but I'm gonna be gone until Thursday night at the earliest, Friday at the latest. I've given control of Vibius to Nit until I get back. I'm very sorry for having to leave for a few days but there's no way out of it that won't cause more trouble than it will be worth.

Hehe. No, nobody ever talked to Damon about tradeoffs in loadout. Be glad he didn't try to lug a heavy bolter to the surface. *grins*

On that note, would it be cheating to have dual lightning claws and a Bolter?

Yes. Yes it would. Mainly because even with the rather variant lightning claw/power fist design, you'd still be basically unable to shoot straight.

I suppose you could take a bolter, remove a claw at some point, and ditch it... But I'd have to put you in the agony booth for disrespecting your wargear so cynically.

Hey, Mal's the Heretic. I don't see any reason to fix what's not broken anyway, apart from potential wanking material.

...

And it'd be damn hard to wank with two Lightning Claws, anyway.

Say, are we waiting for Charon or are we just twiddling our power-armoured thumbs?

I've got Charon's character in tow. Let's go.
Half-Damned, All Hero.

B4, there is already an immense blockadge around the facility. Nothing will try to shoot you down and as you get really close, the sensor mast will be detectable.

What happened to the team sent to establish the landline? Did they finish the job, or are they still working, or did they come under attack/disappear without trace?

They were pulled out with the retreat, before they were able to rig the transmitter and cables up. You can, of course, try again.

Go ahead to post yourselves to the ground gentlemen. The enemy awaits, but not with ground to air batteries.
