Okay, so for starters, it's a newtonian flight model game where you fly small capital ships instead of fighters. It's got a bit of a steep learning curve, but once you adapt, you can pull off some incredible manuevers (lighting strike, orbital, and so on). I've also made a mod which vastly increases the difficulty of the game known as the Elite Mod (PM me if you want the never-before released v0.5, by the way).
So, questions, comments, cries for help?

Cry for help, pirating. I can't seem to find unprotected groups, or to survive against protected groups.
I've tried going for L-points but the reccomended ones(by the messages) are too protected and I can't find one of the points mentioned. Should I try going after stations?

Otherwise, you may need to upgrade your ship and weaponry in order to take down the convoy escorts.
It's generally not a good idea to go after stations early on - they have defense cannons and call for help if you're not careful.
If you can't find one of the points mentioned, just try going through all the nearby points in the map, it may be around a different planet, play with the map a lot to find your way around.

Alright, found atleast two stations that were easy to hit, and now that I'm getting specific requests they usually come with waypoints.

Oh yeah, the cries for help, you'll get those on occasion, and they'll be waypoints. They're usually convoys beset upon by evil pirates with LDSi missiles/other toys, but you can choose to save them, or save them and pirate them yourself - usually if you let the evil pirates kill them, you won't get any loot, as the explosion from the ship's destruction will often destroy the cargo.
Eventually, you'll want to soup up Jafs, but that can wait until later. I'd recommend against getting megafrieghter Jafs, but that's just personal preference.

Lamb chops, I got an RPC, quad light PPCs, double banks of Howlers(I think thats the name). It works aslong as I don't get my ass creamed within 5 seconds.
