Next breath weapon in d4+1 = 5 rounds. Damn... that sucks.
Fort Save 13+17=30 :-D Does this mean I ignore the poison?
So, there's now 3 targets surrounding me? One behind, one in front, and one flanking?

Out of curiosity, is smoke rising from the wound of a holy weapon normal?

Define "normal" in the context of holy weapons. Some kind of adverse reaction (i.e. holy damage) is normal. Flesh might not smoke, but its not unheard of.Rogue 9 wrote:Out of curiosity, is smoke rising from the wound of a holy weapon normal?

Nitram, how can you make the Greatsword Merciful? Shadowsmith only lists enhancement bonuses and Shadow Striking properties as ones that he can give to shadowcrafted objects.

Hrm. I must have misread the rules. Sorry about that, nix that bit. Looks like it's lethal damage.Cynical Cat wrote:Nitram, how can you make the Greatsword Merciful? Shadowsmith only lists enhancement bonuses and Shadow Striking properties as ones that he can give to shadowcrafted objects.

And Comrade Tortoise wins the "not paying attention to GM post" award for failing to note that two of the knife throwers charged into melee.
To be clear the distribution is as follows.
Knife thrower
man and woman on Gaheris.
Two on Torma.
One on Malkamar.
Guy who was slicing at Astinius and is currently near the party, but unengaged.
Tortoise, reroll everything.
Torma isn't big enough to wingslap medium targets into her front arc. Malkamar's guy will be downed.

Tortoise, having not responding to rerolling his grapples, now cedes everything to do with them to the GM. No, I'm not going to do anything nasty to the players with them, I'm just pushing the game along.

Dude. I did reroll my grapples. I was talking to you on AIM when i rerolled them and I seem to remember informing you there that yes, they were being rerolled.. You will note that the post was edited and the numbers changed.Cynical Cat wrote:Tortoise, having not responding to rerolling his grapples, now cedes everything to do with them to the GM. You didn't even fucking bother to read that your positioning was wrong when I posted it or you didn't bother to correct it. Either way, I'm not impressed. Furthermore you failed to note that I'm running the tentacles now and you posted more tentacle rolls.Comrade Tortoise wrote:Dude. I did reroll my grapples. I will edit those out (and have done so), I posted there before I read OOC, so fair enough.Cynical Cat wrote:You didn't even fucking bother to read that your positioning was wrong when I posted it or you didn't bother to correct it. But I did change the positioning (I asked if I could hit them all regardless, you said I could, so I edidted out the specificity, which was not needed, in fact, the spell would be positioned exactly the same way to catch them all in the radius regardless).
I SHould have edited the post further perhaps to note explicitly that I had edited it, or perhaps posted it here. But the fact that the post says that I edited it automatically, and I got rid of a bunch of stuff, and change a few more things should have been enough to notice I had edited it, had you reread it.
The simple fact is I DID do the things you requested, I even talked to you about the changes. If you want control of the spell, you can have it, you are the GM it is your perogative. But dont accuse me of not responding as my response is timestamped on the post.
Again, you are the GM, do what you want, you are the overdeity of the universe. But with all due respect, I dont deserve this particular bit of ire. There is plenty if ire I do deserve, but not this particular bit, at least not for the specified reasons
I mean, if you still have issues with the original post, knowing now it was edited immediatly after I read your original rebuke in OOC at 3:36 AM saturday morning, let me know what they are. I fixed the positioning, unless you object to the nomenclature of our enemies or something, everything is kosher.
If you do object to nomenclature, I am just sticking with their original designations to avoid confusion. If you want me to change their names or something from Thrower 2 to Melee combatant 5 I can.
But, as I have said earlier, you are the GM and I will abide happy and cheerfully with your decision on the matter.

I posted the changed positions. I told to reroll because you were using the old positioning and that you had gotten the enemy positioning confused, which is why I posted the current positions clearly and you didn't use them. I clearly posted I was taking control of the spell. You went ahead and ignored both posts. Don't give me this wounded, holier than thou shit Tortoise.
You have every right to argue with me. You have every right to convince me that I made a bad call.
It is still my call to make and it stands until I reverse it. Not you. Capish?

Ok, so this is about the nomenclature. Fine, I can change that. I thought you took umbrage at the spell positioning and the reasons I gave for it in parentheses. So in light of this the post will be edited to reflect the new nomenlature. Fair enough.
As for you taking over the spell, I will state again that I posted that before I read OOC and the post has since been edited as you will it.
But, at any rate Capish. So you have written, so it shall be. I apologize for the confusion caused by my actions.

You would think that guards would be familiar enough with murder investigations to have heard of speak with dead before. Ah well.

They're guards, not scholars. You're talking about spell which probably costs a lot of money and gives unreliable answers. Its far from a standard part of murder investigations.Rogue 9 wrote:You would think that guards would be familiar enough with murder investigations to have heard of speak with dead before. Ah well.
