Just to clarify, only three of the xenos are psykers.

Just so you know, the heavier armour of the praetorians is hard for Hellfire rounds to penetrate.

Yeah I thought so. Thankfully I remembered my Kraken and normal rounds here for them.

Normal will also have problems, but the Kraken will penetrate easily. They don't go boom, but its still a big hole.

CC: Do the psi-jammers blcok all use of psychic powers near the Praetorians, or just direct telepathic action? Could I, for instance, use telekinesis to grab one of their weapons away?

They are just telepathic blockers. Telepathy still works on them, just not very well. TK and other cruel tricks are unaffected.

A question that's been nagging at me for a while now: what's the appropriate address from a non-Space Marine to a Space-Marine?

Well, in my case, it's Captain, but other than that... Lord might be appropriate for ordinary mortals I expect, but not Inquisitors. I suspect either Brother (are not all siblings in the service of the Emperor?) or maybe 'Marine' is best. Adept, perhaps.

Incidentally, would you like a Praetorian? I'm half tempted to have Crassiros pull the arms off one and cauterise, then beat it unconcious with its own limbs.

...While keeping the important parts intact. The big question is, how're you going to sneak your toy past the Inquisition so you can take it back to your cell with you when we're done here? :)

He addressed his squad over the tac net. "Proceed to the warp gate. I will fulfill protocal and join you shortly."
 That doesn't sound good.

CC: About how far away is this vault from where the fighting is taking place?

What vault? You don't know anything about any so-called "vault".

The remnants of the Praetorians are in front of you, the vault guards (although you don't know them as such), they're still in the mining operation proper, are another 300 meters down the passage.

I realise that, I was just wondering if it was close enough for Halima to sense anything going on there.

The soldiers drones are far away. That little 300 meters away thing. They are not moving up. And the Vanguard units are the big combat robots. You still have to finish the praetorians.

I think we've got them. Now, anyone plan to help poor Crassiros up? :P

Just to be clear, Nitram and Necron have cleaned house on the remaining Praetorians.

Now you just have the soldier drones and the Vanguards 300meters away to deal with.

Wait a minute - they're firing at us from 300 metres away? I thought they'd be around a few corners at least.

There corridor goes straight into the mountain. There are nooks and crannies, but its big and straight. Once the last of the praetorians are cleared away, there are no more friendlies for them to worry about hitting.
