Yes because Lawful Goods are soooo nonviolent, we never see a Paladin chopping into people with swords or using the power of the heavens to make it hurt more... Wait a minute...

I was about to ask if Mysteries count, then I suddenly remembered what happens when Spellfire and Shadow Magic intersect and decided I'll never think about that again.

According to the Return Of The Archwizard's trilogy, there's a giant fucking explosion, and a rift in the plane you're on. Elminster gets to wander through Hell for the fourth or fifth time thanks to that.

Hmmmm. Do shadow mysteries necessarily use the Shadow Weave? It would make sense, but I don't recall reading that when I borrowed my friend's copy of Tome of Magic last week.

The chapter opens with a sidebar on the 'Shadow Weave' on Toril.

Right. The low quality of the writing had made me almost forget it.

FYI, Rogue... the cats are totally my own invention. Unless CynCat decides to take the idea and run, the only thing you'll find are plain old kitchen cats.

And maybe the orangestripe will show up as Torma's familiar.

CynCat? If we've gotten enough XP to raise a level, may I take one level of Sorceror so I can have my little orange kitten as my familiar? Please?

Sorry, not yet. However you undoubtedly have so much dragonish charisma you get a feline hanger oner or two.

Listen check DC: 25. Those who succeed hear a faint explosion and the sound of screaming from outside.

Unless Nitram can beat Rogue's 27 initiative, Rogue is going first.
